Civilian ocean vessels built for corporate use are usually pretty spartan. They might be more comfortable in some respects than a navy vessel, but not much so.

Banana nectar is fine when mixed with apple juice.
The first game had slightly more interesting characters and story, and little more sense of style. The music was amazing, where Andromeda’s is practically non-existent. Andromeda makes up for these lapses on balance with better combat, and a deeper sense of exploration. I don’t regret the purchase.
I was on the fence too, but I played 10 hours of the demo on Origin and it sold me. The game IS glitchy and the animations are bad (as well as the rigging of the characters), and the dialogue is lackluster, and the music is forgettable... but the combat is good, the story is interesting enough, the exploration content…
Right! They had all of these really great, heart-wrenching stories, one of which having to do with the geth and the quarians, and also the lovely relationship between Joker and EDI, which demonstrated how it is possible to have peace between machines and organics... then the star-child comes along and tells you how…
Indeed.
I found this book synopsis just now: http://www.jewishbookcouncil.org/book/fdr-and-the-jews
Well, I just joined Origin Access and the download is 50% complete. I must evaluate this beast with my own eyes!
Make your points, cite your sources. That’s all I’m saying.
No one is saying he didn’t make dick moves, but saying that he believed in genocide for people with disabilities requires more than just an offhand remark. It’s a pretty bold claim.
The former decision was definitely a black spot on his record, that’s for sure. I’m curious about the latter though: did he know about the camps at the time that he turned them away? And if he did, did he know that they were death camps, and not just internment camps similar to the ones he set up himself?
There are no pure heroes in this world, not especially among US presidents.
Very likely so.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt believed in genocide for people with disabilities.
If this is true, then it would a loooong way toward selling me the game. I can deal with odd animation, bugs, and questionable UI choices. What matters to me is character, dialogue, tone, choices, and music. I’ve heard people say positive and negative things about the dialogue and story, but I’ve yet to read an actual…
Please elaborate.
Why is it that there’s always someone who can’t wait to armchair-quarterback tragedies like these? Like, if you’re so willing to end the post with “we’d all make the right decision in our minds”, then why even make the comment at all?
I worked at the Austin location. At one point they had a lot crunch and stress while ToR was being made, but the skeleton crew working on the game now is probably one of the more chill and well-oiled game dev teams I’ve worked with. I can’t speak to the Canadian locations, but I heard there was a fair bit of crunch…
I briefly worked a contract job there. Good people. Liked the job (working on Old Republic), but I can see where their relationship with EA has made them hesitate on changing-up what they see as tried and true formulas. A lot of big Hollywood studios have the same problems. I just hope that they haven’t learned the…
I agree, and I say that after putting 90 hours into it.
