No they can’t. Something about being in the spotlight. After a while it makes you think you are smarter than you are. Mostly a disease of politicians and movie stars but now has spread to Youtube and other social media “stars” and now finally to even sport celebrities.

I think the real question here is how many of these are still running and not in a junkyard? They always showed neat cars like this on the old Motorweek episodes from back in the 80’s and I have yet to see any of them in real life.

You’re missing the point — if we were to use modern tech to essentially re-build a car with Model T specs (20 HP, 1200lbs, zero emissions or safety restrictions, etc) , it could hit 80-100 MPG EASY. Bernie’s fundamental point is that automobile progress has stagnated, and that’s provably absurd.
