Entirely false, I'm sorry. Economy-conscious cvts suck just like economy minded manual and automatics. You'll realize how good they are when you get behind one tuned for performance. They just stay on the power curve better than anything else can.

They pretty much all suck, don't they? Aside from maximizing fuel efficiency they are pure hell and are in no way fun or cool.
