Rumor has it that the I6 Mazda is developing may be taking some side jobs in Lexus products to help pay for its development costs.
If Infiniti is just gonna be gussied up FWD Nissans again, like it partially was with the I30, don’t bother. Just axe it.
I’m one of the (apparently) few people who didn’t mind the styling of the outgoing IS; I thought it looked good, same going for the GS.
I’ll be nice and say that this is the best looking sedan with an Acura badge since before that horrid beak was let loose upon the world.
Good looking design, I”ll give it that, but...using an FF chassis in this segment, double wishbone front suspension or no, is like showing up to an AP class with a dunce cap on. I’m not surprised AWD is being offered; it’s the only way momma Honda will let them remotely compete.

I’ve worked on a few of these and I wanna say they did. I’m pretty sure the mid-00s F-150 did as well (for the sake of juxtaposition).

Cool truck, but it’s not 29k cool.
Do you like it?
Niche offering, plus even if they were to, say, do a back-to-front Corolla (like the AW11 supposedly was) crash testing would be a PITA. Then you get into the fact that most first-time buyers probably wouldn’t be used to MR, even with stability control.
