Just make it stop.
Just make it stop.
Semi-understandable, even if he was right.
And suddenly I’m rooting for the Corona virus.
Quad-4nication.
Good. Hot V turbo engines require a lot of cooling and the Alpha platform might not have enough openings for it. LT4 also makes more power than Blackwing anyway.
“It’s worth noting that companies headed up by enthusiasts, like Toyota and Mazda, have managed to slip affordable fun into their fleets. The Miata and 86/BRZ are popular entry-level favorites and they make people like Fuller wonder why Nissan isn’t doing the same. Why can’t it put another Katayama in charge?”
I wasn’t aware that the 5.0 diesel had been pitched to Ford and GM, nor am I surprised that potential Ram buyers said ‘screw off’ when asked to choose between a V8 or an I6 (the loyalty there is so strong it isn’t funny).
>metal chips/shavings in the oil pan
Yeah that’s a big oof.
“The more Ghosn talks, the more that it’s brought to mind that while “the Cost Killer” Ghosn’s campaign of integration and trimming saved Nissan from the brink around the turn of the millennium, he also kicked off an era of stagnation at Nissan like nothing it has seen before.”
Well yeah, that’s what happens when you…
Not sure, but I know Car and Driver wasn’t impressed with it after they did a 40k mile test.
“And maybe Nissan is fine with that, given that 31,514 is still a decent number (historically speaking) for a truck introduced in 2010...”
The Titan debuted in late 2003 as a 2004 model.
Expected to see at least one Nissan on this list, was not disappointed.
There are easier and less painful ways to throw money away.
No, it’s time to get excited about pictures of Spiderman!
I’ll be surprised if they hold to that ‘majority electric’ promise.
That generation Escape is notorious for rust as well. We had a guy bring one to our shop under the guise of an alignment, and when I discovered the rusted (and partially damaged) front subframe/K-member, he had the audacity to ask if we could ‘just weld the thing’.
The A/S/RS5 Sportback is ugly as hell.
Anything past 20 is pure foolishness, IMO. I’ve handled a few 22 inch factory wheels (I work at a shop) and they’re all heavy as heavy, so you can imagine what that does to dynamics. If you have brakes the size of a pizza, and the wheels are forged aluminum, then fine, but other that that...
Actually 5G has very little of the LS platform in it; IIRC the floorpans are the only thing that common with it.
Rumor supposedly had the Mach 1 returning for the S197 car too (ever notice how there’s a place in the hood where a Shaker scoop fits just perfectly if the center is cut out?).
