I recently found out about California’s Gold show on PBS and at first I thought this is some hick going around doing corny/lame stuff but over a few episodes I grew to love the show and him. I wish I could find half the joy he has for life and for what would think are the smallest things.

And they must be worth quite a bit if any still exist!

Yeah that was pretty bad but surprisingly 2 of the 3 contestants chose the category as their first choice and got most of them right (I think).

I thought I remembered a long time ago like F1 2003 (!) that I could race as an actual driver. When did that change? Maybe it’s because the drivers don’t like to “damage their image?”

I happened on her webcomic Junior Scientist Power Hour and spent two nights reading all of it. And then going further down the hole I heard about this game. I highly recommend the webcomic. It’s a hilarious slice-of-life series, quite a contrast to the game.

Crusader Kings 3 is one of my favorite games of the year so far. I tried HoIIV and after playing CK3, the UI is so cluttered and overwhelming I gave up many times even though WW2 is one of my favorite interests. I tried Stellaris at the same time and I was able to get further into it and really liked it. But HoIIV…

Yeah I saw that too but both directions are long straights (blocks and blocks) and maybe the driver was not sober enough to realize that there was a turn before it was too late.

What’s wrong with it? Generally I find it OK. Prices are good, meat and veggies are decent, staff is friendly. The only problem for me is that their lines are longer than Whole Food or Trader Joe’s but unless I go in past midnight in a shady area of town, it’s decent.

I agree. There’s so much history with him starting as what, a poor mechanic or something during the Brahbam days? He’s the one that transformed it from a glamorous sporting event to a multi-billion dollar business. As long as they aren’t going to sugar coat it, I’m interested.

Interesting... kind of makes sense in that they get your order eventually instead of you looking elsewhere. I would like to custom/factory order a very specific Mini (maybe in a year) so I was curious. Thanks for the insight!

1st Gear: What about custom orders from dealers so they build it at the factory with the exact colors and options that you pick? Are they just pushed back further or will they not even consider it?
