Sah-bahl-myun (the ones in a bowl) because they are pretty neutral and still has that spiciness. I add thin slices of mushroom, shredded cabbage, and sometimes an egg.

I say this to my manager at work every time hiring comes up: I would rather have a coworker with good skills and a great fit than the best skilled and an asshole. Because we can do 90% of that best asshole can do and not have to destroy the team/company.
I wonder how much of that is the rapid change during the 50's and 60's for things like work hours, suburban lifestyle, etc. And also the novelty of these “high quality” canned and technological changes in the food industry.
Also, I’m really surprised that America even knew about “curry” back then.
No because at the end of the day that half salary is a tiny percentage of how much he really makes. It’s a Rolls Royce out of his dozen cars. It’s basically at this point good PR for those who believe it makes a difference between $201,000,000 and $200,500,000. Or whatever.
You joke but I’m in the same boat and that’s one thing I won’t have to worry about but I try to do my part because it will be heartbreaking 50 (?) - 100 years down the road for those who will have to endure them.
It’s definitely the skin to meat ratio. The drumsticks can get too dry and not enough crispy skin per mass of meat. Wings are like crispy chips with just enough meat to compliment the skin.
I’ve always loved the role of support and “the person behind-the-scenes” so this rings true to me.
I’m not sure about that. Yes, 20 mil is 20 mil but he’s probably worth hundreds of millions, more than he or his kids can spend in their lifetimes. I think winning definitely factors into his motivation and not just money.
Hm, I’m suuuper cynical about vegan “meat” but this kind of makes sense because the thinness of the slices would limit the sponginess of the texture. And the olive oil for fat. Plus the salt.
These people have nothing left. So these are the types of things they are fighting for.
“You can’t use a paper straw for a milkshake but maybe my mother could because of her vast experience.”
That’s a bummer. I was hoping even with the expectation of a video game b-movie that it would have a good story. That would just elevate it from “it’s a good movie” to something so much better. At least it sounds and looks like the effects and design are pretty good.
Technically Ken might be the most famous but Colin like everyone says is/should the most famous. Colin with his personality, talent, and being the best at the right time makes him the all-time Subaru driver.
Yep, it’s just insufferable and annoying at best to everyone else around you. I can kind of see Tom Cruise just starting out, being young, going “fuck yeah, I’m going to eat chocolate cake! WOO!”
The Outsiders was such a great movie. All the big stars (Swayze, Macchio, Howell, Lane, Dillon, Cruise, Estevez, etc) getting their starts so they had so much energy and raw acting chops.
“ But, I mean, talk about a low bar that we are RELIEVED at this verdict.”
This was my reaction as well. I wanted to cheer but then I realized, wow, this is a milestone? This is something that was considered a maybe? It’s ridiculous.
I’m making mock Taco Bell hard shell tacos (as taught by my dad RIP)! Even if I gave up smoking on weekdays (too old)!
Every time I hear milestones like this, I always look back at what it would be like had the fucker won a 2nd term. It’s hard to say now but I’m pretty sure we would still be at the delivery-of-supplies phase. J/K I’m sure it would be about 5 million.
Good that’s effectively a career ban. You shouldn’t be able to willfully endanger another person’s life and continue in the sport ever.
That was my first thought too. I didn’t know he lived in the US. The richest country in the world can’t provide free healthcare. Still hard to fathom.
