Yellow was such a 90's signature for manufacturers to make a statement: BMW’s E36 M3, Volvo’s T5-R, S2000, etc. But for me what made the T5-R so distinctive was the gray 5-spoke wheels. It still makes me gawak whenever I see one.

They are not pretty but they were such sleeper performance cars. There is a huge market for those types of enthusiasts I think. And even more so cause Pontiac produced them when they were still known for their horrible over styling.
I think the MR2 name is so valuable to Toyota that someday they will bring it back.
My brother and I shared a red 1990 MR2 Turbo and yeah the handling could get scary but that turbo kicking in from 2nd to 3rd gear and hearing the turbo whine just behind you is one of my favorite driving experiences ever!
