you mean free people up to pursue a career in something fulfilling that they might actually enjoy, such as art?

if something is going to be made by AI, the cost to me needs to go down and it needs to go down staggeringly. To pick a common example (only because it has a familiar price tag, and not because I think its viable), if a AAA game is going to be made wholly by AI, it needs to cost no more than $15 new.  I’m not paying

i made a great effort not to go digging into that, so yes.

absolute classic, that one.

“i’ll get you, beer baron”

the biggest problem with putting a 27th season ep on here is that it reminds me that the simpsons has been on at least 27 years. 27 years since I can vividly remember watching the pilot. This is brutal ageism and you *will* be hearing from my lawyer. absolute evil.

This is weird, because on the consumer end, these subs are definitely sold as a way to reduce what we spend on games. In fact, the only way I was able to convince myself to buy this was that it was going to drastically reduce the number of games (esp full price ones) that I bought. In fact, the only way the

totally agree on this. didn’t mean to leave my own comment as a reply to you. sorry for the confusion.

to me, this feels like an absolute certainty.

easily my favorite use of that, too.  it was hilarious.

Yeah, when the footstep rumble is done less than perfectly, it’s so much worse than them it not being there at all. I’ve been playing the new Star Ocean and they throw in “travel rumble” seemingly out of half-assed obligation and when you go anywhere it just feels completely indistinct and distracting... like you’re

I feel like Other M shares half of its sins with Fusion (bad story, Adam existing, both games run pretty linear, terrible final boss) and half are the product of a coked out development meeting. I did kind of enjoy the combat, though. It’s a shame that it pretty much means we’ll never get any genre experiments in

FFXIII-2 was a pretty good Final Fantasy game.  Easily better than XIII, maybe than XII or X.  The battle mechanics from XIII had a lot of potential but ran out of steam about 2/3 of the way through.  Adding the monster collection mechanic inexplicably helped improve it and define the powers and roles better.  I only

i’m ok with this—it felt tedious and seemed like it wandered in from some other canceled project, but had a certain internal logic, I guess. But in exchange, I demand that we have a serious puzzle-shrine cull. That stupid ball-rolling maze is one of the worst things i’ve ever done in a video game. I get that both are

one of the most unforgettable movies I’ve ever seen in my life was “Run Lola Run.” Not only was it ~80 min but it managed to cover its central story 3 times in that brief period. Utterly perfect film and while it was visually inventive it was more than eye candy. It just told its story in a very different way.

Personally, I’m not a fan of typical video game mechanics and themes in my board games... Scythe is probably as close as I get, and I prefer the economics to the giant robots. But it’s an incredible game and even has a video game spinoff called Iron Harvest that utilizes its gorgeous, imaginative art style.

I loved raspberry syrup from coffee shops, but I would mostly have it in Italian sodas, which Starbucks has never offered.

True, but Angelo got mentioned in the article already. He got his props.

i hope so, honestly.

There was also FFVI, where the ninja character had a dog that was available for assists. One of them was named Shadow but I can’t remember if it was the human or the dog. I was always overjoyed when he’d come in for a surprise attack.
