Another movie I’ll just skip and just watch the Pitch Meeting for it.

I took me a moment, but I think it’s supposed to be referring to the casino keeping the winnings because the addicts are always going to lose it back to them.
I imagine there’s a reason they show Captain Carter standing with Uatu at the closing. That and the opening dialog certainly seem to imply an overall connected story arc and that The Watcher is not yet going back to being a passive observer.
Which makes me inclined to see the movie even if it’s bad.
First thing that popped into my head when I saw this headline.
The creators of the show have already teased that they’re working on another season, and Captain Carter is the one character they’ll admit to bringing back next time around. I, for one, could not be happier about that. Let’s hear it for Captain Carter.
I just want to say how much I appreciate knowing that Heaven in Lucifer's universe has a forking profanity filter.
No, no, no! He was Mr Freeze, totally different villain.
-RE: Nyxly’s fate, assuming she and Papa El survived somehow and Nyxly will show up PISSED at Kara later in the season, probably an episode after Kara gets back to Earth. It’s alternate dimension space death nonsense and we didn’t see the bodies.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a piece of media about an unpopular kid in high school who didn’t have a defining fixation on being popular.
I said something similar when the trailer came out. That it looked like it was going in it’s own direction and would not just be a Harvey Birdman retread. I see the original show as good thing, but concluded. A spinoff should be trying something different.
I’m starting to wonder if the Oculus Quest may be a real game changer. I’ve been interested in purchasing, but have been frustrated that both the 64 and 128 gig models are sold out EveryWhere (at least in Denver). Now, unless my town is an outlier, this seems like VR might just be taking off for real this coming year.
They also watch Supergirl in that universe.
I have wondered if the reason the other Arrowverse characters have been mentioned in Black Lightning is because they are all just comic book characters in his universe. That might lead to a fun reaction when he meets them.
That’s pretty much what I guessed, but I also had figured the guy would turn out to be an angel sent to make sure her “Last Christmas” was a happy one. Seems we both landed on the target just shy of the bullseye.
Yeah, as long as we never see the text or hear it being read, I just treat it the same as when an actor is supposed to be a virtuoso pianist and they actually can’t even play chopsticks.
Well there is one villain we know exists somewhere in the Arrowverse that we haven’t seen yet, Brainiac.
I’m thinking it’s probably more of a connection to Lex Luthor’s bodyguards in the comics. They’ve had their own version of Mercy, now they have their own version of Hope working for a Luthor.
