I can’t help but wonder if Lucifer is going to ask how Cain escaped from Hell, and why is he dressed as Superman?

I like the way the new suit is deployed, but man, do they need to work on it’s speed. Hopefully the slow assembly was just for the sake of the dramatic reveal and will be much faster in the future.

There’s a woman at my place of work who often wears a pointed toe flip flop heel that makes me wonder if she just applies some kind of sticky adhesive to her toes to make them stay on.

Funny for me to see this pop up. I work in catering and we just did a party where the clients rented these chairs rather than use our regular (and more comfortable) chairs. So they paid extra for these ugly, uncomfortable chairs, and even put a few outside on our terrace where it was 100 degrees out.

The expression on both their faces is “I can’t wait to get away from these people and go take a shower”. I assume there was, at least, someone nearby with a bottle of hand sanitizer at the ready.

It’s the electro-feminist band Le Tigre who get the final word in the series. Their song “Keep On Livin’” kicks in as Jessica turns towards her city with newfound determination.

As someone who remembers the “before times” when I had nothing to do and needed to kill time, I’m grateful for the smartphone. Let’s not pretend that when we were bored and/or waiting for something, we spent the time doing anything more meaningful.

I don’t have he DC subscription, so I’ve only seen clips on YouTube, but a lot of the absurdist humor I’ve seen makes me think of Mel Brooks in his prime.

Disney+ will have my money if they make “Professor Hulk” a series.

As disappointed as I am that I didn’t get that joke in first, I’m at least relieved to not be the only one who thought of it.

Yes, I’ve said before that I didn’t like the Lena heel turn they seemed to be setting up, but now I’m starting to feel optimistic that they’re not going in that direction. Maybe her “skirting the line” will lead to some self reflection and growth as a character.

Possibly, but I think it was clear that J’onn was doing exactly what Manchester wanted and it would be disappointing if all he was doing was committing suicide by Manhunter.

One of the first things I thought was that it was Tessmacher who shot James, but at the time I figured it would turn out to be a misguided attempt to protect Lena regarding the black budget thing. Then I decided that it wouldn’t be that and rejected the notion.

I’m really not buying that Manchester is dead. Having him killed in the B plot, after all the time they spent developing him? I’m sure we’re going to find out more was going on there.

Lena is going to use her science to save James, but it’s going to turn him into a giant turtle man.

I haven’t seen anyone else mention this yet, but am I the only one thinking Lena is being set up to create Doomsday?

I’m hoping Lena’s arc is going to have her government experiment lead to a disaster that causes her to realize what she was doing was a huge mistake.

What gets me is, didn’t Lena specifically say she wanted James to be the “Angel on her shoulder” and warn her if he thinks she’s going too far?

Actually, it really just occurred to me that there is a counter-argument. She still remembers that J’on J’onzz is an alien. He arguably had more influence on who she is today than Kara. She was in a bad place when he took her in and helped her turn her life around.
