It took me longer than it should have to come to that realization about rompers and I was mystified why they would ever wear them. Stripping to underwear (or possibly naked) to pee, even if in a stall, seems uncomfortable.

As to the head first or arms first, depends on whether my hair is long enough to require styling and therefore something I have to be conscious of when pulling a t-shirt on. If so, it is head first so I can control the neck not touching my hair, other wise arms first.
In regard to the urinal thing, several friends recently explained that they unbuckle their belt and undo the button (along with unzipping obviously) when peeing at a urinal, instead of just unzipping. Is this common practice? If you are not one of the aforementioned people who drop their pants to their knees this…
You’re doing the Lord’s work.
Makes sense. I started watching but when I realized they were only showing episode 1 on TV to get people interested in paying to watch the rest, I didn’t even finish episode 1 - though I was interested in what I saw in the first 30 min or so. I pay enough monthly for cable that I don’t do any subscription services…
Are you going to pay for online subscription to watch this? Or will you wait and binge the rest of the season once (if?) it becomes available on Netflix, Prime, etc.?
The entire warriors team should go kneel in front of the White House.
As they like to say, its about the journey, not the destination. And her wealth provided her opportunities for a very fun journey (whether she took advantage or not I have no idea).
Either he’s an asshole or his weather people on the west coast lied to him. Weather channel specifically said when it looked like it was going to rake the east coast “we don’t want people on the west coast to get complacent, they are part of the cone meaning it could shift back to them.”
Absolutely. My parents’ house and my house are pre-Andrew structures.
Post Andrew in 1992 the building codes in Miami became some of the toughest in the country. No one can build out of wood. Roofs require additional security when being attached to structures. For the most part all new construction is requires to have shutters or impact windows/doors.
Oh I agree on the bad part, and after Andrew I have no desire to live through rebuilding after another storm like that.
Do you really think the flooding will be that bad? We may not be much above sea level, but we are not below it like New Orleans. The water will recede without the need for pumping (which is nice since I dont think we have any, except for maybe out on Miami Beach, MAYBE).
Since he will never take questions from real journalists about this, can Congress call him to explain his logic, which is clearly flawed. I want him to have to explain why he is purposely using inflammatory rhetoric to people he can’t ignore like he does the rest of the population.
+1
Fair point.
what exactly is cultural sovereignty?
I agree that the theaters should view this as a threat if they legitimately think this will fail, but I’m not gonna be mad about them realizing people hate paying more than $10 per ticket. Maybe drop your prices, raise your already sky high mark up on food (and I buy popcorn and come for every movie and it costs more…
And I’m the type of person who will see almost anything in a theater, but if I see borderline interesting things on TV I’ll probably just flip past it. I will use this at least twice a month, and even more during peak summer movie season.
