The farthest "North" I have lived is New Orleans (Miami and Gainesville are the other places). I want nothing to do with the GOP and religious right, but I love Miami and have no desire to move. I am writing this so I stop reading comments (which are just pissing me off more) about how people want me to either accept

Does that mean they can drill off the coast of Florida as much as they want? How far out do their borders reach? If they are not part of US I would think they dont have to listen to US rules about offshore drilling (I dont know how those rules work, just assuming). I'm guessing they would be happy with that.

exactly. the onions are a deal breaker

As someone who has spent my entire life (minus college) living in Miami, I forget that conch is a regional thing.

Split pea with shredded pork, chicken, and plantains. That is how my cuban grandmother made it for me growing up. It is only recipe I wish I knew because I would learn to cook it, but she passed long before I would have ever thought to ask how to make it.

I should have kept reading the comments, because I said the same thing and instead I could have just tagged on here. I get annoyed when I see Kingdom of Heaven on tv and it is missing an entire plotline. If he has to do the same thing to Exodus just to get it in theaters I will be disappointed (I will still go, but I

The Director's cut of Kingdom of Heaven is that long. The theater version removes an entire storyline of Eva Green's character having a son who would succeed to the throne. Wont be surprised if he has to make similar cuts for theater version of this movie. And the longer Kingdom of Heaven DC had an intermission

Every time I hear someone use "Bye Felicia" now, I can't help but think about this (as evidenced by my kinja name, this is the team I follow).

Up, because, as you said, that's how mom did it. I actually dont own any glassware (irrational fear of breaking glass cups) so I have no need to protect them from chipping.

Is the issue that these people cannot do it or that they do not want to do it because of the supposed gendered nature of the tasks. I feel like they should have had a chance to perform all of these tasks at some point in their life. Did these people just go straight from their parents home to living with their SO?

I only knew one other person with that same track. Though I knew others from UF and others from Miami, just not both.

Students at my law school started an FB page titled Weinman High - it was just like high school, so much drama.

I didn't read Paper Chase before law school, haven't read it after. But I was at least aware of the shit show I was walking into in regard to cold calling.

Fair point. I actually dont like either ingredient. I love almost all sausages but breakfast sausage.

Did not know other countries don't get drug ads on TV. Interesting.

Easily, but I hate all forms of eggs, have since I was a child. And I have periodically tried them again and still hate them in all forms.

I assume there are legal issues, but I would have loved Lorde's cover of Everybody Wants to Rule the World playing in the background like the real commercials. Also, sending this an artist friend who has been drawing his cat as "Gary the ninja cat" for years.

I used to drive by his house every day on my way to work. It wasn't even that big. He just bought a nicer house in his old Perrine neighborhood (which isnt even a bad neighborhood). Nothing flashy. I didnt even know it was his house until after he died and saw where the news trucks were stopping. Just dumb kids who

Syfy gives their shows a chance, so Ascension will last longer than it probably should. Forever seems like the one to go, even though I like Ioan Griffud. ABC will give it a short leash. Same for Scorpion, but it may have enough action to keep it around a little longer.

Only issue is the tomato soup. Fuck is wrong with you ruing a perfectly good grilled cheese by dunking it in tomato soup.
