Yes to 'Moonshine 101'!

Let me know if you need a co-blogger or guest writer. I love this! haha

I love you. Were you adopted? Because seriously I think we may be sisters.

Can we just go with "never?" It is NEVER ok to leave children or animals locked in a hot car. COME ON, people. This is Texas. Heat indexes are expected to reach 105 today, you could bake cookies on the windshield of your car. And it's just gonna stay this way until October. We ALL know this. We go through this EVERY

Of course this will fall to employees who have no control over the company's policies to clean up. Did you think a VP would come down from corporate to tidy up/have their mind blown by this act of protest?

In that vein, BK's Cheesy Tots.

I have a 3-year-old son. This is what they act like. My children have an excellent example in their father and I still have 50 conversations just like this every day. We are all perfect parents until we have kids.

It's clearly the post of someone who has never interacted with a 3 year old. Ages 3-4 seem to be the bossiest ages of a human's life. I have a 4 year old who follows me around barking orders. He does this to his dad, his older brother, his younger sister, the cats and his toys. My daughter has just turned 2 and she's

Holy Lord some of you are soooooooo overthinking this.

I thought this was cute-funny and then I saw everyone's reaction on social media: "Why is she talking to her child? She should just make him obey orders".

WTF? She wants to hear what he has to say, you can tell in the end mom makes the decisions. Has anyone here even have a child? Have you heard about the "terrible

It's more apt than you may think. While a good camera takes better pictures, a good photographer can make the most of any equipment.

For one, "Your camera takes nice pictures" = "Your keyboard makes nice blog posts."

Up until very recently I would have agreed wholeheartedly with all this. However, due to a cruel twist of fate, my prom photos have become much more important to me lately.

In September 2012, my secondary school boyfriend (who I met when I was 13, and broke up with just before I turned 19) was killed in a plane crash

I actually think hiring a professional photographer for prom is a GREAT idea. Let me explain why:

I volunteer for an organization that does grad services for young women unable to afford attending their grad. We give them a big poofy (well it doesn't have to be big and poofy but it usually is the kind that is requested) dress, hair & makeup, photography and limo services. I guess you could look at it as

Most people take very nice snapshots. But for big events or for things like advertizing, the pros can do it a lot better. Photoshop can only go so far and it's time consuming to do it right.

The truth is... most people really suck at taking good photos. I don't care if you think you can Photoshop, it ain't the same.

And everyone thinks that they can do it themselves and blames the camera when their prints don't turn out good.

Excuse me, but eff this advice. I'll take my money where I can get it. And if that means taking photos of narcissistic teenagers, then so what?

Although I agree with your sentiments, buying an expensive camera does not simply equate to beautiful photos. I'm sure you get good quality and nice representation of the color spectrum but taking a beautiful photo requires someone who is skillful in the technicalities of photography.
