This is just going to wind up in Apple taking away the URL API, just like they did with the settings tweaks.

It's slow.

Luckily for us we don't run tech blogs so neither of us will look incompetent when whatever devices actually come to exist. The staff around here on the other hand...

Simple, if I actually want to keep my cool (ie I'm not on the terrible gawker commenting system) I just consider the reason something has aggravated me so, usually it boils down to some absolute idiotic action/idea on someone's part which reminds me that most people have an IQ hovering around functionally-retarded and

Honestly blog posts about products are those sort of ads. And that's why we don't block the post itself.

I won't accept its existence until the keynote. It is a bad idea that I find even more unlikely than a big ipod/small ipad.

You want to see the ads? Why?

original iphone/ipod touch (same resolution)

Nevermind, the joke worked better in my head.

If you're sleeping might as well make it a server because you don't need to hold it. Plus you get a lot more power...

Some kind of server, the powerpc macs are awesome for chugging along forever. So just think about what kind of server you might have use for, (files, media, build slave, ssh proxy, webserver, the options are endless) and install the right daemon and boom you just bumped up your geek cred a million fold and made

clone the non mac partitions to other disks using something like dd and then remove all but the osx partition. then update. then create as many partitions as you need to restore the other OSs (with the same sizes as before) and clone them back into the new partitions (in the same order as they were before). then use

Use windows' partition tool to shrink windows, then do as above and be sure to point the ubuntu installer at the free space you created at the end of your drive.

Huh, can't say I have experienced any of those bugs (except for keychain being a little bitch, but that usually resolves itself with a manual check for new mail or just waiting for another automatic check to occur). But good to know what's wrong instead of blanket hatred!

I've seen plenty of people complain about Mail.app without giving specifics, care to share why you hate it?

My most used box is a webserver/git-server/ssh proxy/dvd ripping slave/linux CI slave and a few other things. Plus you can still use the desktop while all that is going on.

I said at least.

That's a pretty tiny desk, but at least you have a good reason!

There's plenty of usable software. But the wireless drivers are a bitch I'll give you that.

Plus they FINALLY have integrated print dialogs and native pdf support! But can you yet scroll in a window that doesn't have focus? And is the dvd playing functionality still ripped out in the RTM?
