So, I don’t know how to write this so it doesn’t come off as completely out of touch in a “it’s one banana Michael, what could it cost, $10?” kind of way, so I’m going to preface this by saying that’s not my intention, and I hope I don’t come off as an asshole.

That is my experience too, this product is absolute garbage. I’ve had one since day one and ever since they added android support it has never worked on iOS.

So step 1 should be throw out your router if it isn’t from Apple, Google, or Ubiquity. As the consumer lines from linksys, asus, netgear, d-link, tp-link, cisco, etc. are all fundamentally insecure at the firmware level, no matter if you patch them or not, even worse if it comes from your ISP.

The browser patches obviously protect you from javascript based attacks such as from ads; but they don’t protect you from other code that you run without much validation. For example: node modules, wordpress plugins, or even chrome extensions until Chrome is updated.

Note that Japanese has only started it’s beta period, and is only available for iOS. At least as of yesterday if you leave your language selection as japanese when you finish on iOS, you will break the website.

Just don’t do what I did, which is to say build up such a tollerance that your mouth or throat will start bleeding before you notice something is spicy.

By default, a service like Time Machine doesn’t include system level files

This is a scam dude, firstly El Capitan doesn’t allow block level access to the disk, so you have to go through the FS, which means that writes are buffered up and only written to disk occasionally, so most or all of your passes will be discarded. Second most Macs have ssd’s which makes writing to the same block

Ok, no. SW can still run as root, but root no longer has unlimited power over the system. This approach shows you the files that were removed from sip protected locations, but SIP disables so much more sw than just that which installs to a protected location:

mdfind is already indexed so no need to build the locate index.

It’s just -x on OS X, see my last line.

Nah, you can put most applications wherever you want, in fact if you create an applications directory in your home directory (to deal with permissions issues) it will even be given the correct icon. And there are system applications in various places that one might want to know about (I know that when I first audited

It would be much much faster than the find method if you had a disk attached or network volume mounted, or if your disk was full of mainly small files, etc.

Oh god no, you know how slow searching every attached disk with find is?

"You can also change your iPhone's app icons without jailbreaking" Not as of iOS6.

1. Obviously you (like just about any android fan) have no developer experience, the API for contacts has been available since 2008.

Ok so a perspective from someone who doesn't live in 'merica.

Oh the president of the UofA, Indira Samarasekera, has over the course of her appointment put into place policies to reduce the number of non-white students, older students, and women. This is primarily achieved through exercising another of her policies which is to deliberately make undergrad as horrific an
