@Pierzy: With Michael Jordan making the announcement

"Trapshooting is not the way to a woman's heart, not even in Iowa."

@Dethzilla: Yes, unfortunately. I saw that match too. My brother and I were watching it live and, about 90 seconds in, we couldn't figure out why she hadn't stopped it yet - let alone let it go for 2 rounds. Wish I knew what she was thinking during that match.

Great job impartially covering women's MMA! You might also want to do a feature on Kim Winslow, who has refereed many MMA fights, including UFC (the most prestigious MMA promotion), earning praise for her in-cage work during a time when refs are highly scrutinized. You don't even hear "Hey, look! A chick referee!"

The only thing keeping me from ditching cable is sports. [MLB.tv] is a good alternative, but it's pricey. If there was a way to watch college and professional sports online for a small fee, I would drop cable in an instant.

I smell a new TLC hit show!

I don't even think the true issue is the gay quota. It's that they won't allow bisexual players to play, essentially telling them, "Listen, you're either gay or you're straight."

Why can't I click on the "gay softball" link? Is there something you're trying to tell me?

@BananaStandCEO: Yeah, sorry, that was a slip. I know it wasn't bjj. He was able to get into the mount whenever he wanted, though, so it was a clinic of a sort.

@MOB712: Sir, we ARE dangerously close to 4/20...

@Enochrewt: Agreed, for the most part. But, I tend to put more (admittedly, maybe too much) faith in the upcoming UFC's 2nd-generation game (2010) than EA's first game, that only uses Strikeforce fighters.

@Shinta: Tito Ortiz is an unfair example. Everyone knows that man is an unbelievable douchebag.

@ChaosKnight: That's alright. More people should be playing UFC Undisputed than EA MMA. The graphics look like a significant downgrade.

@Travis Jordan: I really hope you use the same standard in every other sport. Even the biggest sports have clowns and fools at the top of the game (easy example: NFL). MMA is no different, but those that don't follow the sport don't know about the great, respectful men and athletes who are among the best in the

@murderface_: That seems to be the consensus. It looks like I'm one of the few that enjoyed it.

It's incredible how much respect boxing / kickboxing / amateur wrestling / Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu / Muy-Tai fighting get individually, compared to how disrespectful people act when you combine them into one competition.

Yeah! There's no brawling in sports!

@Justin Clarke: Lol, ouch. I loved David Tennant's Doctor Who. :)
