Some religious PAC sent a mailer to my house that was supposed to make walker look good and Burke look bad. When I showed it to my husband he thought it was proburke and I had to explain it to him. That's how screwed up walkers policies are. That showing what he stands for repulses my family.

My part of Wisconsin has had 60+ mph winds. ;) It's not common but it does happen. Last time there was no damage to our towers, etc. that I'm aware of. On the other hand we are a tornado area. So we probably build to those standards. (Hopefully) but yeah, pretty sure Houston does not need snowplows.

my home airport is inside of Chicago center's airspace. My airport and all the other towered airports near me were not reporting metars yesterday. So I'm wondering if the tower controllers were doing approach stuff and the approach controllers were doing center stuff.
