It's a great machine no doubt, and maybe I'm wrong in this but I think one of the key points of a netbook is to be cheap. I got my wife a netbook last year and while it may not stack up to your Macbook Air in performance, it cost $249 and serves all the functions it's suppose to very well.

Already has, Vlingo is a free app for Android, Blackberry and I believe Symbian that does all of this just as good as Siri does. I've been using it for a while.
