One of those small powerstip/surge protectors (I like the one from Belkin). I also carry some duct tape and one of those ultra fast-drying lightweight towels that absorb 9x their weight in water. I also carry a small bag filled with common over the counter medicines and some travel dose of Tide detergent. It is a

To me it looks like they simply piled on their personal gear, which is commonly done, but they didn't take into account the back-blast of the weapon. The truck and it's weapon seems just fine in the picture. All the flying debris appears to be ancillary and personal equipment. Next time offload your crap before

Do you have a water heater? You'll have some water in it and your pipes you could drain out.

Sorry, but this new layout simply blows. I shouldn't have to screw around with the URL in my address bar just to see more of an article. This new "update" has FAIL written all over it.

I've done the same thing with some simple contact paper. Get the clear shelf liner and cut to proper size. It is opaque enough to not be able to see through and still lets in the maximum amount of light. Peels right off.

@aek8: Just like cigarettes are very cheap and there is no smuggling of cartons going on? That's right.... cigarettes aren't cheap and smuggling is widespread in places like NYC.

@Gary_7vn: I heard it was a black and grey van with an angled red seperating line and a red airfoil. It was driven by some dude with a mohawk and way too much gold jewelry.

I have to agree that tact is the way to go. I would recommend following up with snail mail and keep records of everything you do.

I've done this with large pieces of MDF. I wanted something with a lot more heft so the people sitting at the table couldn't move it around accidentally. If i was to do this again, I'd router out a channel for the piano hinge and lay it down so the hinge side was down. This would keep the table from "lifting up" at

Sometimes sticking with that day job is the worst thing that can happen. I wish I could elaborate more with a personal experience, but it is ongoing now.

I shop all year for presents for my friends and family...kind of. I generally tell people not to buy something for me, but they can make a donation to their favorite charity or to the Humane Society for "me". If they see something that is "perfect" for me, fine. When I say I shop all year round I mean that if I see

I have this particular model for use on the road and I have a larger desktop model. I have found them to be very worthwhile and would not imaging setting up an office without one.

I'm a fan of MagicDVDRipper because it also converts movies files. One of the big things I like about MagicDVDRipper is that I can choose to only rip the main movie, select some or all of the subtitle and audio options, and even compress the movie to fit on one DVD.

I used this trick when I was in the military. It also helped me to remember to check my boots for creepy-crawlies before putting them on....

I'm a big fan of Dinner-Timer Light since it is so flexible and I can have it running on top of my other apps with transparency.

I've been doing this for about the last 6 months and have found that it easily quadrouples the length of time I am comfortable using the same blade.

I keep an old electric typwriter around just for typing up job applications in case I'm ever in the job market again. Nothing like typing up one of those in-house forms instead of scrawling it out in my crappy longhand.
