For me it was the highlands and lochs of Scotland. My wife and I took a trip there a few years back and I got up the courage to do some left-side driving. Luckily the traffic out in the more scenic areas was pretty light so I could do a bit of gawking myself.

Lovely. I have a bad habbit of making my vacations road trips, driving as much as possible to see it all. It’s exhausting and not leisurely. GO TO ICELAND and drive the ring road. Most alien world you can visit easily.

It’s beyond stupid, it’s outright sociopathy. They’d be 100% against it if they thought it would happen to them, but since they assume it’ll only happen to other people, they’re all for it.

“In this country, you’re innocent until proven guilty” which is why I pulled a gun on an innocent man until he proved he wasn’t guilty. Flawless victory.

And very useful to point out that the mere “anti-civil forfeiture” = “pro-crime” connection that voters might make is an indication of just how absurdly stupid so many voters are. Hard to advance as a country when a large chunk of voters are just too stupid, irrational, and prone to dumbfuckery when making voting

We have a stupid amount of them at work. I can hear them through a concrete wall behind me and they are 100 yards away in some trees.

IOW, this is guilty until proven innocent for all property, everywhere.

There is a complexity to cars today, that wasn’t apparent when we were kids.

Szechuan chicken tax?

It should and would be a golden age for salvage yards stocking hard parts like body panels, suspension components, glass, and rebuildable engines and transmissions, if anybody gave a damn about keeping their (newer) older cars on the road the way we did (and still do) with cars from the 1950's and 60's.

Even the base Omni with the 2.2 was really peppy (when the horrid carb decided to work properly). Cardboard car with no weight and giant motor (for the time).

It’s reasonably quick today

Just gonna leave this here...

The issue here is not even political. They welcomed an individual that is under indictment for a litany of crimes, has been found liable for rape and promulgated an insurrection, attempted a coup, attempts to undermine our basic democratic institutions, cronyism, tax evasion, fraud. He defames people, lies repeatedly,

I can’t remember if they were the Dirt Sharks that season or not. I think S&G had to change the names of the organization they worked with between every season because they had become disgraced.

This show was absolutely brilliant and I was very sad when it came to an end. Lance racing the Dirt Sharks on their moped was a great scene. I need to get myself a Dirt Sharks tshirt.

My dad had the Shadow version, also an ‘89. Turbo 2.2, oh boy, and first car we ever had with alloy wheels instead of hub caps. Later my brother had the Sundance in Duster trim with the v6 (‘92 i think?) and at one point I wound up with an ‘88 Shadow, 2 door. Even my sister-in-law at one time wound up with a Sundance.

I was bonkers in love with my aunt’s ‘89 Sundance RS Turbo. It was white with a gold rocker panel, tan seats with red stripes and a tan and red leather steering wheel. I wanted one so bad I ended up with a ‘93 Sundance v6. Unfortunately mine did not have striped seats.

Now playing

This reminds me of the show The Detectorists.

So if you’re part of a pro-Hamas demonstration you’re a “mob.” If you try to take over the Capitol on Jan. 6th you’re a “tourist.”
