There’s an insane amount of room in the Element, but I gotta say it’s not comfortable for a long trip. When I did my One Lap of America gig in 2006, our media team was in an Element for the ~3000 mile trip, and the amount of space we had was the only positive. It didn’t ride or drive very well for that length of trip.

As a Midwesterner, I’d never heard of them before seeing them on Chopped or some other FN show.

I’ve always liked pot pies. I bet beef stew or chili would make a tasty pie this way, too.

We already have one of those in the turbo Mopar community. We’re a weird, but kind of close-knit bunch. :)

Question... Do they know what bedbugs actually look like? I doubt if the vast majority of people can identify very many insects accurately. We’re having a little bigger than usual outbreaks of stink bugs and Asian lady beetles in Illinois this year, because of the late warm weather. Most people I know might call

Is it a car? An SUV? A minivan?

I love it. It reminds me of this shortened Omni, the Omnilet:

You only watched two episodes? You have no idea where it was going. :D

Vikings was broadcast on History in the United States, as well. I enjoyed it, although it was never quite the same without Ragnar.

Blake’s 7...”darkly memorable”...yes, I guess you could say that. I was in college when I saw the last episode at about midnight one night. “A little traumatic” is another phrase that comes to mind.

I definitely go that way with paring knives. The cheap wood-handled one I use feels far better in the hand and just works better than the couple of fancy expensive ones we bought several years ago. “sharp turn” :)

I made this for Thanksgiving with the last of the fresh sage from the garden, and it was amazing! So good on the mashed potatoes, and, well, everything really. Thanks for the idea!

It’s so easy to make, I feel Dennis is doing a disservice by calling it a finicky dish. I’ve always said, you make a simple custard base, and if you freeze it you have ice cream, if you add a little spiced rum you have eggnog, and if you bake it and torch some sugar on top you have crème brûlée.

I bet the cranberry grilled cheese would be good. I saw a TV show years ago where they were making grilled cheese from randomly selected breads, cheeses, and jellies/jams. Just about every combo was tasty. I’ve found cheddar and raspberry jam on wheat to be excellent.

When I was in high school, every day on the way to school we’d pass a house with a white ‘63 Ford Falcon parked in the driveway. For several years, that was the car I wanted. It had to be a ‘63. After that the design became more angular.

If I didn’t wear a belt on my hat, it would fall down around my ears!

Arabic versions, too, which I think lean a lot more towards cumin and cardamom. I have part of a big bag of it my daughter sent me when she lived in Abu Dhabi that I use mainly with chicken for shawarma, with lamb, etc. I’d have to take a fresh whiff to be sure, but I feel like it wouldn’t go great in a sweet dish.

It pairs well with this.

Me, too. His cover is pretty arguably more well-known than the original.

It’s a 1/0 mix of...[operation undefined]
