We had a thriving rosemary bush when we lived in TX. Just grew like crazy with basically no care required. I used to almost always break off a sprig or two when I was grilling and toss it in with the meat. Back in IL now, I’ve read that there’s one variety that will survive here, and I really want to find one and

Or their three-pepper sauce is really good, too. All the Arby’s sauces! You used to be able to buy them by the bottle, but from some searching, it seems you no longer can.

Being an authorized user can be especially helpful when just starting out. We made our daughters authorized users on one of our cards when they were growing up and moving out, and it did help them at least have some kind of credit history to start building on. Before that, one daughter couldn’t even get a store card,

Ha! That reminds me of how when we got married in ‘85 in IL, we received six cake plates as wedding gifts! Mostly cut glass on pedestal type things. After all these years, we’ve hardly ever needed one cake plate, much less six. I assume we got rid of the extras at some point, because I can’t think where any of them

Is this good aged balsamic, or thin grocery store kind? I’m of the opinion you can put the good stuff on absolutely anything. Meat, veg, fruit, ice cream, anything.

I’ve had that also with crumbled bacon and imitation crab in it. It’s pretty good!

I find this corn salad delicious. It’s super easy to make, too.

Weirdly, my local Kroger which usually has things I can’t find elsewhere, doesn’t have dried morels. But the local Schnucks (Midwest regional chain) does have them usually. They’re expensive! Like $15-$20 for a small package. They do taste good, though. I’ve put them in my Thanksgiving dressing before, where they add

She was from Chicago, so I guess that explains it!

These remind me a lot of a cookie my Polish great aunt used to make. She called them kolaches (sp?). Hers were always made with melted vanilla ice cream and filled with apricot preserves, and they were delicious.

Seems like too much for that condition. My parents have an ‘82 *with* the V8 and only 25K miles on it that dad picked up at an auction for only $2500. It looks immaculate compared to this one.

I was thinking the same thing. I’ve been a customer for years, but I don’t remember the last time I got junk mail from them. I keep looking into switching to streaming, but still no one option has the channels I watch, plus I really like to record stuff and watch it later at my own pace. None of the cloud DVR options

My wife and I sometimes make a lentil and veggie stew with chicken apple sausages cut up in it. Simple, but packed with flavor.

I know what you mean. Early 90s when our girls were pre-school age, we could go to Taco Bell and feed the family for under $10. I’m not a fan of TB now. It all seems flavorless compared to other available taco options.

Not a breakfast-related comment, but the best thing at Wendy’s is the half-size Apple Pecan Chicken salad. It is, no exaggeration, the best salad I’ve ever had anywhere. Everything about it is just perfect. I’ve thought way too much about this salad, but part of what makes it so good, I think, is that every ingredient

He needs to get in touch with the Shelby Dodge community. We can point him to the sources for the clutch and anything else he needs. Heck, a lot of us probably have the parts on a shelf in the garage!

I used to say that my son was made of chicken nuggets, because it was one of the few things he would eat. It was at least a stage, though, because he’s 20 years old now and will eat, or at least try, just about anything.

My wife really likes Maille Old Style whole grain mustard. I’m more of a Dijon guy myself, although the Maille is good when you want that texture.

Savory cheese pies are underrated in general, I think. I had sirnica in Sarajevo, and it was one of my favorite foods on that trip. Georgia has its famous khachapuri, and Greece has tiropita. All of them very good.

My favorite has always been Do-Si-Dos. I thought I remembered them being called Savannahs in my childhood. I looked it up, and they were called that back then!
