I didn’t listen to the audio, but it actually seems like a decent way to make kofta, if that’s a thing you make often.

My mom made “French toast” by putting a piece of buttered toast on a plate and pouring syrup on it. Now, I have to admit that I still eat this very occasionally as a 50-something-year-old man when the mood strikes me. But it’s not French toast.
Jill Stein had dinner with Michael Flynn and Putin before the 2016 election. I don’t trust her. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/guess-who-came-dinner-flynn-putin-n742696
It’s fine. I was just hoping it would actually be better than a regular Whopper. There’s no satisfying some people. :)
I don’t think I did. I think the regular Whopper my wife ordered was a regular Whopper and the Impossible Whopper I ordered was an Impossible Whopper. The author of the post above also noted that Impossible Burgers taste just like regular burgers. I mean, not particularly good burgers, but burgers that could certainly…
I tried an Impossible Whopper, and I was actually a little disappointed to find that it tastes exactly like a regular Whopper. I’ve had a Beyond burger at a local place, and I liked it’s approximation of a rare burger better overall. So the Impossible wasn’t bad at all, just indistinguishable from a regular Whopper.
You can still get Jolt: https://www.joltcola.com/buy
I agree. There are exceptions, but a lot of ALDI’s store brand stuff is as good as, or in some cases better than, the name brands. We don’t get everything at ALDI, but it’s a regular stop on shopping day for a variety of common things. We don’t have a huge amount of choice in our town: ALDI, an independent store…
He may have committed some light treason.
I was a little disappointed to find that the Impossible Whopper tastes almost indistinguishable from a regular Whopper. I’ve had a much better meatless burger at my local coffee shop, and I was hoping for something more like that from the Whopper.
Probably also not a problem if the microwave has a turntable. The water is constantly jostling around then, so very unlikely to get superheated.
I had trouble with Gmail on Firefox until I went to about:config and set dom.serviceWorkers.enabled to false. You shouldn’t do this willy-nilly unless you know you don’t need support for service workers, but you probably don’t.
Don’t know where you are, but Kroger in my backwoods town has ground lamb and lamb chops (I grilled some at Easter this year), and our Aldi had lamb roasts the other day (that’s hit-and-miss, as Aldi often is).
Fritos or similar corn chips in tomato soup is a flavor from my childhood that I still have occasionally.
Blow in it.
Inexpensive, easily available, and pretty good tasting: California Olive Ranch for oil, and Kroger’s house brand HemisFares Balsamic Vinegar of Modena for balsamic.
Gotta admit I laughed at Seth Meyers last night saying the shrimp got it from the blowfish.
