I’m not sure how much I’m feeling the cell-shaded look...no doubt that the graphics are superior, but it all seems a little too bright and colorful.

Young Eraqus. Note that he wears his hair up in back, just like he did in Birth by Sleep.

Question for anyone who’s had experience with both a G35 and a G37:

There are a lot of videos of dumb people doing dumber stuff with automobiles.

Minor correction: the 2014 CTS-V base price was $63,600 (the 2009 model was even less at $58k and some change, if you’ll believe that).

Same problem I had with the 2nd gen CTS - my mom picked up a pretty well optioned 3.6DI, but Cadillac wanted an additional $2200 for the "sport suspension package" in order to get HID headlights. It was ridiculous then on a "base" model CTS, but on a range topper like the V line, it's just asinine.

I didn't even see it when I was there - granted, I didn't have as much time to look as I would have liked - but I still expected it to have a prime spot on the floor, and am very surprised to hear it was tucked away like it was.

I have mixed feelings about this.

Do I believe she should have her driving privileges revoked for 10+ years, potentially life? Yes. Call it a lapse in judgement, a mistake, whatever you want, the fact of the matter is she created a ridiculously unsafe situation that unfortunately resulted in the worst possible outcome. Oh I'm prepared - I love the V2 and would have no qualms about buying an "older" model - but I'll be no less saddened by the loss of the manual.

A day? I wish. Mine took the better of three consecutive weekends. Granted, I allowed a full week to pass between each major step (degreasing/etching, epoxy, clearcoat) but it was a luxury I could afford since I wasn't moved into the house yet, and it eased my mind fully about cure times and it being ready for use.

So the rumor mill has stated. I'm waiting until next month to hear it from the source, because whether it's a 2014 or a 2016, I will own a CTS-V but only with a manual gearbox.

An alternative to the no-slip sand would be applying decorative paint chips to the wet epoxy, but it would effectively necessitate laying down a layer of clear on top.

Absolutely - I did when I did my garage. I didn't complete fill the joints in as to be flush with the floor, but I did get a paint brush in there to ensure I had a nice thick layer in there.

An additional step not listed here that I feel begs consideration, after cleaning/degreasing and before rolling on the epoxy. And that's the application of muriatic acid (same stuff you use to adjust the pH in pools).

The number I care most about is number of forward gears actuated by a clutch.

I'm not sold on the spoiler...
