I’m surprised the Viper didn’t make it as well.  Between them being fairly old now and also pretty frequently damaged by people that aren’t used to near instant torque you’d think there would be a pretty good market for reproduction parts.

Sold a few earlier this year, can confirm. Amazing car that still holds up to this day.

Manual. Wagon. Mod-friendly. $40k.

All that talk yesterday about how the C5 Z06 is actually the most underrated car and yet not one person has brought it up here yet? Fine, in the words of the prophet Thanos...I’ll do it myself.

That would really have made it a shitty day.

“died by suicide” has to be one of the sloppiest phrases I’ve heard in awhile. You commit suicide or you kill yourself. Suicide is a motive, not a method.

Inflation adjusted these $58k of the 2009 come out at exactly $63.8k, so I’d say the price for that generation has stayed the same overall.

Right, alternators themselves usually have built-in regulators to ensure a stable output voltage under varying loads. It's usually around around 14.5 - 15 volts (to produce a voltage greater than the 11.5-12V relatively stably provided by the battery and, hence, to charge the battery).

I brought this up on the original article, that it is acting as a low-pass filter, and not for energy storage. Now, if these fluctuations could be transfered to the plugs, couldnt' it cause "reduced performance" (if ever so slightly)?

I have been fighting this battle internally for sometime now.
