Damn it Fahey, you beat me to it! :) Valley is a hidden gem of a game, and it has SUCH a satisfying jump mechanic, that I - like you - still dream about it.

I played Valhalla (on PS4 Pro) with my internet enabled yesterday, and the abilities was still there. True, they were gone for a week, but the reappeared the other day and is working as intended.

The Chronicles were all flawed. I love platformers, stealth and metroidvania elements, but these games were just to unforgiving and full of trial ‘n’ error, and I never finished any of them. And I finish most of the games,I start.

I both agree and disagree. I completed Control and went all the way to earn the Platinum trophy - and I loved the challenge, as there was always something to do, somewhere to explore or an upgrade to find. Then I started out on the first DLC, strong as an oxe, and I met a boss, that kept killing me in a few seconds…

Sounds fantastic - I’ll get onboard that game ASAP, then!

Just seen the first minute of Talos speedrun. Damn, that is so fast, I cannot even fathom it. Also, not a spoiler, as I don’t see many strangers to the game copying those moves :) Thanks for the link, I’ll dive into Superliminal shortly :)

I want to play tht as well, but doesn’t it ruin the fun to have watched the speedrun? On another note, I absolutely looove The Talos Principle - where can I see that speedrun? Man, I have spent so many hours with that game (and its DLC). One of the best of the genre - together with The Witness!

Probably? Remember Burnout Paradise? Or what about the slew of rereleased Resident Evils for Switch, that was also way above the price for e.g. PS4? Nintendo have a killer console, but that’s no excuse for emptying the players’ pockets time and time again.
