I’ve “only” played AC1, AC2, AC3, Black Flag and Unity, but the best one in my opinion is Black Flag. Sure, the series as a whole impressed immensely with AC1, but Black Flag is the only (I’ve played), that didn’t feel like a grind, and that’s the highest praise I can give it. And it’s the most diverse of them;

That’s not a prize, that’s torture. Perhaps I’m too old, but where do people get the time to complete games more than once - AND vaccuum everything up each time? I enjoyed the PS4 version and got all the Riddler trophies, but slap me silly if I have a desire to do it twice. I have other games (and some sort of life)

Perhaps it’s because I’m from Denmark and not aware of the normal practices of taking your car to a garage in th US, but HOW is it possible for anyone to blaim the owner? Cars cost approximately 3 times more in Denmark than in the most of the world due to taxes, so we know EVERYTHING about trying to shave pennies of

I you haven’t already, then do yourself a favour and seek out the full show. It’s one of my favorites, up there with Eddie Murphy’s “Delirious” and Robin Williams first two shows.

Yup, he was part of the ensemble behind “Not the nine o’clock news” with other notable British comedians Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones - a british sketch show from my youth. They always ended the show with a musical number, and this is actually my favorite of the bunch! :)

Saw the headline, immediately said “Dark Forces” to myself. Had you said otherwise, I’d have given up Kotaku for good :) Man, that game really blew me away, and it was light years ahead the competion, both in varied FPS gameplay and in mood/plot.

I agree wholeheartedly, and I usually do not put down any money for virtual window dressing, be it themes, avatars or skins in games. BUT! I still bought a couple of themes, since I was a big fan of the games (and no preview on Youtube was available). What can I say? I’ve learned the hard way...

Now playing

No music as I recall, and since the normal button sounds are so generic, I disabled sound completely. But it is gorgeous to have running in the backgrund, and all the needed info is visible (use black shadow on text).

The PS3 version has the same options to invert camera and aim as PS2, so that’s not an issue.

Absolutely and without a doubt one of the finest video games from the PS2 AND PS3 era in my book. It’s one of the only games, I’ve completed more than once (three times, actually), and to this day the quest to reach the secret garden makes me strangely proud unlike any other video game achievement :) Also, riding with

Also, why not start the game with subtitles enabled? Too often, foreign language gamers (myself included) miss some aspect of the intro due to this, and then I have to enable subtitles and watch the intro again, which annoys the hell out of me.

Seriously? You don’t have kids, I suspect. Your view on the importance of making kids feel important will change drastically, when that happens.

There is no acceptable reason. That puck was thrown to the kid. Anyone snatching that away is a thief, no matter what the reasons. Shame on him.

They’re not completely different letters, as they (Danish ÆØÅ, Swedish ÄÖÅ) actually is formed from two letters: Æ/Ä is AE, Ø/Ö is OE and Å is AA. The last one is a bit weird, phonetically, but the first two actually has kind of the sound, you would expect. I’m Danish by the way, so trust me :)

Oh yeah, the atmosphere and mood in that game was phenomenal! I loved the original movie as well, and Rockstar really nailed the feeling of being in the shoes of the legendary street gang.

Any date for EU release?

I hear you (while genuinely laughing at your prime example), but the only thing I can reiterate is: It’s a cartoon. I obviously have another threshold between what can or cannot be done in a cartoon, without it disrupting the consistency for me. Buzz is not flying (to me), he is falling with quite a bit of style. It

Yup. The moment you start criticizing the lack of realism in an animated movie is the moment you should be watching a Kieslowski movie instead.

My thoughts exactly.
