It's very cheesy, the Sentai genre is pretty unique and beautiful, this piece of work is well done but is pretty awful too. The intentions are pretty obvious, after the commercial "success" of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter this guy is trying to do the same but he gritty and dark atmosphere don't apply to everything.
