No, not really. You basically have 2 islands with the massive mainland of Gotham in the background. They sort of screwed themselves with the map...everything is apparently an island. They'd have to do a mini-reboot and attach everything (GTA4 style).

I agree, but imagine the rewards were actually good. Also, imagine sort of thug strongholds throughout the city (think Far Cry 3 outposts) that you can approach by stealth or combat and they help unlock gadgets and make fast travel points...The outposts were the best part of Far Cry 3.

You could actually make time MORE important in an open world. Imagine you have to fight crime, unravel a mystery, etc., but come day break, you have to switch back to Bruce Wayne (making that compelling could be tricky). A bit of a Dead Rising thing going on, where you can miss stuff and NOT save people if you aren't

Just imagine a Batman game with regular citizens filling the streets...Imagine if they reacted realistically to you dropping down onto street level and being around, trying to scramble way, when a fight breaks out. And yes, I'd be very OK with playing as Bruce to basically do some social stealth or something (like

I think it is time. Let's drop Arkham and go with Gotham and open this sucker up for real. They know everyone wants to drive the batmobile and imagine some Just Cause 2 type grapple action...oh sweet Jesus that could be fun. I know doing an entire Gotham would take some of the focus off the taught narrative (my only

It's over people! I think Ubi was the last big publisher that was doing online passes. It's over! Amazingggggggg Grace....How sweettt....

Well said. I'm getting both and I'm struggle a little bit because I'm getting BF4 on XO, even though I know the graphics aren't quite as good, but I just remind myself that I'm going to be playing it a lot and if I get it on XO I can instantly switch to TV, NetFlex, HBO, etc. (whenever the wife gets sick of hearing

Not having pause/resume for games at launch seems like the much bigger deal. It is one of the best things about the Vita and XO will certainly have it.

Not to be a total ass, but "it's all about the games!" has been Sony's mantra since they announced the ps4...Everyone has been dumping on MS for trying balance games with EVERYTHING else people actually do, while Sony has barely acknowledged any services beyond having great hardware specs for gaming. So, this

"Dana! Jump! Daddy will catch you!" Hilarious, very underrated line.

Crap, I wasn't even thinking about getting this game, but that looks like some classic Burnout "Road Rage" mode...The handling looks more arcadey than Most Wanted too, which I like because for some reason I could not get a handle on Most Wanted, something about the camera made it impossible for me to have proper depth

What happened to the cool looking black box?

I guess I'm mostly complaining that AC devolves when it tries to do conventional stealth. Each game, since Brotherhood at least, has instant fail scenarios and PLENTY of places where there are no crowds and you need to hide around corners, etc (conventional stealth). Relevations was the worst offender and consequently

I love stealth games (especially flexible ones). I've beaten (some multiple times) Dishonored, Deus Ex HR, SC:CT, SC1, SC:PT, SC: Double Agent, SC: Conviction, the Batman games, etc.

Assassin's Creed is not a stealth game...and the parts that sucks are when it tried to be...

Good! The worst part of the AC series is when they try to force stealth on you. Everything about it is wrong. It works much better as an action adventure game. No more instant fail missions please!

I'd be shocked if the game didn't have horses. 1. It seems to have everything 2. the hard work was done with RDR.

The PS4 Controller has a speaker? Or is it a microphone?

So much bloom! Can't say I'm impressed with the graphical updates. Still feels like the CoD series does as little as possible. I get not messing with multiplayer, but with the campaign, I'm pretty sure they have license to do whatever they want. Ever heard of co-op or less linear levels? I'd take those options over

I suspect this is only to be an issue on the first round of Xbox One shipments (which might be sitting in boxes somewhere already).

I for one am looking forward to new consoles (both of them). The DRM for used games seems reasonable (to me who has a solid internet connection), it basically makes it the same as now, where you need the disc to play (but improved it by not needing me to get off the couch to switch games) and I know that I will use
