Really enjoying it. It takes a bit to get going, but once the skill trees start to open up it quickly surpasses Dead Island. Mechanics and graphics (and surprisingly few bugs) are all a big step forward. So glad there is a good game out in January!

Yeah, having a little extra launch content for one platform (for a brief window) is one thing. and MS has been playing that game with COD for years, but a year delay on launch content and then another year delay on DLC content (but paying the same price). That crosses a line. I'm not a hater at all, I have both…
$20? Bahahaha. For $20 (1/3 of the price of the current game), I need a new planet with 4-5 story missions (like the others) a strike or 2, a 5-10 XP level cap bump (not through light), and updates to the patrol system to make it more interesting. All changes should layer into existing content. That would be an…
Agree across the board.
What is with Destiny's half-in/half-out treatment of vehicles? I loved when I got to the Moon and the first mission had enemies in the speeder bikes shooting at me (Ghost-style). Then, that never showed up again in the whole game (the speeders are gone when you play the Moon any other time). There is a place on Mars…
Nah, this is smart. Lets get this controversy out of the way and let E3 be all about the games. I can't believe they did it. Man, you can't say they aren't willing to right their wrongs. I personally use the Kinect every single day (for voice stuff), but this evens the playing field.
The other issue is that Respawn freely admits that mind blowing graphics was not one of their major focuses. They were smart to focus on multiplayer, gameplay systems, and a smaller number of skus. The game, while limited in scope, is crazy polished for the start of a franchise. I'm sure #2 will blow the doors off the…
I'm sure the disks are already being pressed. Whatever they are doing will likely be a day one patch. No?
I'm 100% ready to forgive the slow reintroduction of 360 features. The whole "scrap our entire digital everything" plan clearly set them back. At least they are cranking out the updates quickly now (unlike another console I know - and own - cough cough). I'm not super down on MS, so I don't have a complete list of all…
Yeah....standards for mobile gaming are different than PC. Especially, for a FPS. Especially when that FPS is an offshoot of a GREAT FPS. Based on the trailer. This looks like a joke...I can forgive bad graphics, but the gun play and action was not designed for mouse and keyboard. It looks stiff and completely…
Walmart credit is about as good as cash. What can't you buy at Walmart?
So this game is going to be awesome. I loved the first 2. But I have this nagging issue that I know is stupid. The graphics are so good, so realistic, the the glowy power effects look super cheesy and lame/fake. Not an issue with the flame powers, they look sutbley gritty and real, but the neon stuff looks out of…
Seriously. The PC version is a little sharper and slightly brighter overall. The game overall is not particularly graphically impressive, but its super chaotic and makes up for it with lots of stuff going on and big levels. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of use of bump mapping (or whatever the more modern…
Well that looks awesome. Crazy how the graphics already seem a little dated, but gameplay and story wise, it looks great.
Excellent. Now only if BF4 would let you join up before looking for a game...I know that isn't MS's fault, but its super frustrating...
Ha, I noticed this, but the bump in the terrain, as you leave the run way is usually enough to get airborne.
Dude. I played and enjoyed Killzone 2 and 3. This is something wrong with Shadow Fall. I just officially gave up after Chapter 3. Something about the movement, aiming, everything, feels restrictive. I know, how is this possible after it has been sped up so much from 2 & 3? I have no idea, but I really don't enjoy…
I'm just gonna say it. Battlefield 4 is more than a "good game," it is a great game.
I have played every BF since Vietnam (on consoles I've played BF2, BFBC, BFBC2, BF1943, BF3 - played on PC too, and now BF4 on XO) and BF4 is easily the best in the series and, for me personally, the best competitive multiplayer…
I love Crysis for the wide open levels and the variety of ways you can approach the game and all the scenarios. Crysis 2 stumbled on this a bit, but it was still an above average shooter with a brain. I have beaten Crysis 1 at least 3 times (I actually beat all the Crysis games on Super Soldier - I just love that the…
If anyone reading this hasn't played the original Crysis (available on ps3/360), you should do so. It is a brilliant "sequel" to Far Cry. Far Cry 3 is also amazing, though its sluggish on console. I also enjoyed, but didn't love Crysis 2 and 3...so yeah...but still Crysis 1 is my 2nd favorite FPS of all time, behind…
