I had ACL surgery (also soccer-related, though that’s where comparisons end) a few weeks after Zlatan, and, out of curiosity, I’ve been trying to follow his recovery to compare to mine. I had cadaver, which has a much faster out of the gate recovery but same long term, and I’m assuming he did not given his age.

My story is very similar. I’m also a CrossFit guy and did that right up to the day before the surgery. I went back to the gym 6 days after the surgery (no right leg stuff, obviously) and now do that 5x a week and PT 3x a week.
