Yes, if I know I’m going to have a busy day tomorrow, I’ll buy a couple cheeseburgers the night before and throw them in the fridge for a quick and easy breakfast in the morning.

Two kids here, drive a GTI. Modern hatches are plenty big enough for two car seats.

Even discounting the cost of the gas they’re burning away, the time alone is worth more than the few bucks they’re saving.

I’ve never understood the lines of cars, waiting 45 minutes, engines on, to save $6 on a tank of gas. 

I live in Canada and nobody ever wears shoes inside here (even in the summer when there is no rain/snow/etc.). To me, wearing shoes in someone’s home seems both nonsensical and disrespectful.

Maybe the solution is to have bigger vehicles that can carry more people in one go through the tunnel. If it’s really high volume, maybe link the larger vehicles together in a chain so that they all travel at once all at the same speed.
