Yeah, Level 1 is pretty harmless if you ask me. I will say I am surprised at how much assist my wife’s new bike (just got it yesterday, a Juiced CrossCurrent S2) has. In the higher settings, easy pedaling will get you to 20mph w/o much effort.

Everything I’ve seen is that level 1 are OK. Those are pedal assist only (no throttle) with a max assist speed of 20 MPH. Anything faster or with a throttle is not allowed. I’m sure certain parks have adopted stricter rules, but that ‘s gotta be researched on a case by case basis. As is usually the case, the equipment

AFAIK, level 1 (assist to 20MPH, no auxiliary throttle) are legal. Level 3 (28MPH, no auxiliary throttle) are not legal, but that would be tough to enforce. Level 2 bikes have an auxiliary throttle and that would be easy to figure out. My wife’s bikes is a level 2, but I don’t see her getting into trouble with it

I’d be curious to see the breakdown on e-bike sales comparing commuter vs. recreation. I am awaiting an e-bike delivery today actually. It’s for my wife so we can go on bike rides together. Her e-bike will allow her to ride at a pace that will keep me from being bored to tears. When I go to my local mountain bike

So basically it’s just a public right-of-way through private land and it’s the landowners discretion and expense to maintain?  Sounds like a great time for a local with a dualsport motorcycle, but not so much for inviting tourists to try out off-roading.

I’ve ridden a Christini. It’s neat. Doesn’t change the handling of the bike too much, where you notice it is in muddy conditions more so than hill climbs. When you jump on the gas, the back doesn’t step out as much and the bike does get a noticeably better forward drive. It won’t help you avoid getting stuck because

I went close to a decade without a front plate on a car in 2-plate Ohio and never had an issue.  It’s one of those enforcement issues that let cops go fishing as my LEO buddy explained.

Man could my company use the box truck.  I’m pretty sure 250 miles of range is plenty for us and our current company policy is to drive it until it breaks, let it sit for a month before we get it fixed, then wonder why productivity is in the dumpster.

Here’s the thing you’re ignoring. Being the victim of crime sucks regardless of your socio-economic status. As a former victim (had a garage broken into and had an ATV, a mountain bike, and my toolbox stolen), I feel sympathy for all victims and despise all criminals. Just because someone can afford to recover better

Nice!  Enjoy your new ride.

What groupset?  I upgraded to a bike with SRAM Force eTap and it’s sweet.  Totally unnecessary for, but slick as hell.  I was going for an Ultegra build, but the shop didn’t have my size in stock and decided to spend the extra $$$.  Now it’s got me looking at putting the GX AXS upgrade on my mountain bike with

I paid $2100 for my Giant Trance (lowest spec build aluminum frame) 5 years ago knowing full well I would have to upgrade the fork sooner rather than later. I lucked into a lightly used Fox 36 Talas 150mm-160mm travel fork for $300. At the time it was literally the cheapest mid-travel trail bike on the market if you

You can spend over $10K on a bike now pretty easily if you want the top groupset for bragging rights.  If you’re a serious cyclist (riding multiple times a week for serious mileage), you pretty much have to spend at least $2K if we’re talking drop bar road bikes or mountain bikes.  Hell, I spent $500 on a mountain

There has to be a lost in translation moment somewhere. $4000 gets you into the high end of the market that only racers or serious cycling junkies participate in and no way someone like that loans their bike to a stranger w/o a bike.

My KTM and Husqvarna dirtbikes are like that. Acerbis is the OEM supplier for their plastics. You can order Acerbis plastic in a variety of colors through the aftermarket or OEM through the dealer. The OEM part will have the part number on it and costs about twice as much.

I get that there’s a certain demographic that thinks that way, but really surprised that an airline pilot is in said demographic.

I ordered a Ford Transit 5 weeks ago. Dealer said 7-8 weeks to get it. As of today, I don’t even have a VIN number or build week assigned. Oh yeah, I had to order it. Not too many AWD Cargo Transits with the tow package and Ecoboost to be found (i.e. zero in Ford’s dealer inventory system the day I ordered it).

With the talent and fanbase that MM has, it’s is definitely in Honda’s best interest to have patience with the healing process. He’s a generational rider still in his prime that you hold on to at all costs. You certainly don’t want him going to Ducati or Yamaha in ‘22 because he felt rushed.

Oof. That surprises me.

A big diesel pusher might not notice the extra drag.  A person who can afford a ‘21 Gladiator as a tow behind probably isn’t driving a Class C with a gas engine.
