Can I do a write-in?

By people I think you mean like 9 people and 7 of them can't afford a new one.

Faraday Future...soon to become Faraday Past.

I just got fired for having my dick out against my work pc monitor. I really need to read the articles more thorough.

Why buy this new car with a warranty when for the same price you could buy some problematic high mileage car that is half the price of a well sorted low mileage example? This is why.

People keep surprising me with their refusal to do simple research. Would’ve taken two seconds to look up the dimensions of an Evora and realize “Oh. This car is bigger. Plus safety regulations = extra bulk.”

-> All the power.

Here comes my luggage! Hold on!

Absolutely, turbocharging tends to muddle the sound and who wants to mess with that glorious v10 pulling 8500RPM...

Up-pointing arrow, emphasizing your point.

I would also add that the sheer amount of hybrid intervention F1 cars have with their turbo systems that they do not really count towards what you were originally trying to articulate. Even then, they will overheat after a few seconds of staying stationary so they’re far from being heat resistant.

NONE of those cars you speak of are running an engine that you’d find in a car straight from the dealer. I’d give it a 75% chance you need cooling help with a R8 V6 from the dealer before you could run more than 10 competitive paced laps at a race track.

I love FI motors, but winding a N/A motor as high as it will go is truly special.

Difference being, turbocharged car built for occasional bursts of speed and a turbocharged car built from the ground up for racing. So yea, big difference.

In all those examples—if they could get the same power from an N/A engine, they would do so. Simpler design means more reliability, and turbos do take time to build boost. F1 has not been running turbocharged engines for long now, and the engine change is a PR concession, not something that improves performance on the

You forget to mention that those have an ungodly amount of cooling that isn’t cost effective for a road car.

Can’t believe I went through almost 500 posts and didn’t see this (unless I missed it and subconsciously don’t love it as well). Former world production speed record holder SSC Ultimate Aero:
