Earth to Toyota...

Next 86 should be the same setup with more power and liftback. Dont mess up that sweet driving car.

And now you know why we call you stealerships.

You must live under a rock

100 and 200 series are actually even more reliable than the previous FJZ80. Very very reliable...

I wouldn’t believe what he says because if he knew anything about a LX then he’d know a LX doesn’t use air suspension which he keeps mentioning. The only problem with these trucks is after an average of a decade of service with no maintenance, the hydraulic accumulators go out so the truck doesn’t do its fancy ride

Its not air, its hydraulic and the only parts that fail is the accumulators which usually last way longer than a decade. When one does fail, they generally run for $300 average per corner.  Theres cheaper and theres expensive options. Its also super easy to convert to a regular land cruiser suspension.

Land Cruisers don’t have balljoint problems. Ball joint “problems” were on 3rd gen 4Runners and early 1st gen Tundra/Sequoia. Counter argument, these problem ball joints are exploited by very high mileage so its not a bad idea to actually replace ball joints when you see that the boot is comprised. Thats the issue

Too big to off road? As it hops around like a fat ass mountain goat.

2UZ makes 320 lbs-ft in Land Cruisers of this vintage. 260 is incorrect.

Actually the 2nd gen sequoia was released in November 2007. The 5th gen 4Runner was released in September 2009. 22 months separate these two.

This is proof that regardless of it being a decade old, a honest bad ass rig is what people like. Now sit back and watch Toyota ruin it by taking away its T-case lever and water it down in the future.

This is proof that the real people chevy commercials are bad.

This is why we cant have good things anymore.

I remember when I used to like the way Subies look. Nowadays they look like refreshed  2005 Corollas. Dafuq Subaru?

People like you are the reason why we cant have good things. I bet you’re going to try and talk us into ditching the ribeye in favor of eating kale.

I really like these. I’m waiting for the quadrafoilatte or whatever versions to drop like a rock so I can snag one hopefully.

335,000 miles later, it don’t care. Tows, 4wheels, daily drives, shuttles kids, commutes and of its lucky it’ll get an oil change every year maybe.

I would buy one in a heart beat of it were here.

If I see an old car that I care about or modded 4x4s or 4x4s that look beat to shit, I’ll stop. If I see a Toyota Corolla broke down and someone is waiving me down, I mash the gogo pedal and don’t look back because that’s what this commercial warned me about.
