GT86 BRZ use toyota transmissions out of the Lexus IS250 and the rear differential is out of the IS300. Why you drunk?

I get a lot of Mazda meets BMW vibe. The Mazda is the stronger flavor to me. Its like Toyota designers gave the BMW designers a picture of the FT1 concept interior and handed them a picture of A Mazda interior and said make it happen.

Because the Mark X’s American predecessor was the Toyota Cressida which was killed in favor of marketing Lexus.

How is the Mark X which is barely the same size as a IS350 an Avalon? Avalon/Camry are wimpy FWD grocery getters and the Mark X is a RWD performance sedan.

I probably caught air 20x a day 4 days in a row in the Mojave Desert doing 80mph+ a few months ago. Almost 200 miles of desert bashing in a 3 ton FJ probably wore out my expensive reservoirless shocks. Time to get Icons.

Rreflector side markers are the most idiotic and ancient DOT bullshit along with their turn signal initial illumination volume and the ancient headlight standards. Not a single American can say whew I’m glad I seen that stupid side marked or else i would’ve crashed.

You're comparing Lincoln's very premium interiors and conservative exteriors with Cadillacs freakish styling and boring interiors? Why in the hell would anyone want to pay luxury car money for a Cadillac that doesn't appeal to the older people that can afford them? Secondly if you're goong to compare Lincoln sales to

So whats happened here is Ford was too lazy to make a Continental successor so they used a FWD Fusion platform and gave it a lovely interior. The new edition is Ford being even more lazy by hiring a limo maker to cut your new Fusion, make it longer and give it correct door orientation for a Continental.

The sad part is this is a old 20r carb 4 popper RWD open diff and not one fuck was given.

I will like it when they offer it in base I6 for mid 40s with a stick and a torsen.

Arabia, the land of redline.

Well there goes my idea of buying the new Supra. Ill just spend my money on the other cool car coming out later; the new Ford Bronco.

You start adding weight to that ranger and the advantages of the diesel start showing up. Ranger needs a diesel option for the overlanding people since Toyota won’t do it. I know GM makes those high heel looking trucks but I don’t swing that way.

Are we copying the Japanese now? What next, the spindle grill?

Please Toyota don’t fuck up and follow this horrible trend of ugliness on the next gen Tundra...

My friend owned one of these manual trans in SE trim. Such an ugly car.

I owned a Solara V6 5 speed. Was a very fun 1 legger burnout monster.

Wow that actually looks great.

Ew

I dunno. I’ve driven a few 929s and I found them weird. They were very sluggish, very boaty and very large compared to the more athletic drive of the Cressida. I never got how they called that plastic laden interior a luxury interior either. The USDM 929s remind me of the Mazda MPV with that dull face. The last gen
