As an owner of a spacious semi truck, I never understood the complaints of Tacoma seating position. Im 5-11 and I’ve driven my 6-3 tall friends single cab tacoma and I never thought the seating position was awkward and neither does he. He also owns a Tremor F250 a big Sequoia and an Expedition so I’m sure he’d

Now playing

And yet nobody is actually shining a light at the REAL problem. Truck driving schools are cranking out steering wheel holders for the longest time and doesn’t teach them much of anything. Lets blame these poor idiots for blindly going into an industry they know nothing about, over pay for shitty schooling and

I dunno why people make the t-belt on the UZ sound like a horror story. Sure the book states it pays a billion hours but it only takes me a leisurely 2-3 hours to swap out a t-belt, water pump and maybe the cam seals if I see some form of leak. That includes draining the cooling system and removing the radiator. I own

Mout American drivers don't even use their mirrors anyway so this is worthless. You're doing 60 in a 70 in the left lane and I've been staring at your mirror and never once has your face looked back at me.

Joe Becal ran the Rubicon trail in a stock FJ Cruiser and didn’t put a single scratch on its exterior. Maybe Ford should’ve called Joe to do the job.

I still own and wheel my FJ. I bought it because I like Toyotas, the FJ is an interesting vehicle and Im not a fan of Jeeps. Im buying a new Bronco to park next to my FJ for the exact reasons.

You’ve clearly never driven a FJ Cruiser. FJs are very superior offroad and its that superiority which left it and a 2 door JK weak in sales. Too small for rear passengers and cargo and having clam shell doors wasnt easily accessible like in the slightly longer 4Runner. The FJ was also sold during an economic crash.

Volvo’s ishift lever in their big rigs has a simple manual button that folds the shifter below the seat cushion and out of the way. Why didn’t ford do a simple manual release instead of a motorized unit?

Tall? Boxy? Blacked out C pillar? Grand utility? Hmmmm. I think the 80s beat Kia to it.

Lol you seriously dont know 4Runner prices. This thing is almost a bargain and it would be a steal if it had a factory locking diff.

Lol reminds me when I went to get a yard of gravel in my uncle’s T100. The loader Kept asking me if im sure about it. Long story short, the power steering was feather steering and the 200,000 mile clutch was audibly telling me to fuck my life.

C8 looks like shit. Front end needs a total redesign.

So when can we see this thing do the Rubicon? Jeep and Toyota subjected their offroaders through the Rubicon to prove a point, lets see this Discoverrrrr defender do the same. Namibia run is like an exotic Mojave desert run lol.

Trust me, they'll never forget to reinstate the laws. Those strict laws are a cash cow for the government. But if the driver is pressured by his or her company to drive passed their physical limits then I agree with you.

With ample mirrors... lmao. Clearly clueless the limitations of mirrors on a 75' combination vehicle. This is why they post this in drivers handbooks which you’ve probably never cared to read. Be a considerate driver yourself and make quick passes instead of bragging about playing tortoise and the hare like you did in

Truck related accidents increased when rules got stricter especially with ELD mandate. Of course nobody wants to point that out because government is making money, ELD manufacturers are making money and truckers are making less money. But what do I know? Ive only been in the industry for 15 years.

Uh... what? Desert blasts and Rock crawls while weighing 6000 pounds for years, has adequate power especially with 4.56s to tow and its been very reliable. Call it vanilla all you want. As a owner, it's been a very fun rig.

Looks like dog shit.

Ok so you’ve operated a semi truck before, right? Of course not because your answer is wrong. The big diesel engine sits ahead of the cab making noise. The cab is sound insulated to reduce some of that noise. The big tires from the truck whine as the truck drives down the road. Driver possibly is playing his stereo.
