American market HD truck transmissions are unsynchronized so you have to rev match to shift. He probably kept shoving gears until he broke something.

My FJ does fine all the way up to the speed limiter.

I don’t have a problem with sweaty hands when I’m driving my regular vehicles but when I’m driving my big rig my palms sweat so badly the leather on my steering wheel is wearing where I normally grip.
