Well let’s see. I was in Yakima, WA 3 days ago and today I’m in Virginia. Total cabovers seen = 0. Total freightshaker crashcadias seen = 7 trillion.

I’m a trucker and I haven’t seen a single cabover sleeper truck on the road in years. I’ve only seen them at truck shows.
I don’t get what you’re trying to say here. Cabovers produced in America? Let me help you. The freightliner argosy is made in America but that doesn’t mean you’ll see them with long haul drivers. Cab over sleeper trucks died because Americans think they’re dangerous in an event of an accident. Also maintenance cost is…
Probably just a glider truck they purchased to prototype their technology. I’m pretty sure Toyota doesn’t want to make a truck with an electric motor under the hood when it can replace differentials with electric motors and move everything else in the wasted space under the cab.
I love cabovers. It’ll never happen again in Murica.
The real question is, how the hell did your land Cruiser lose weight? 5700 pounds isn’t what I seen on a certified cat scale at the truck stop that’s for sure...
Euro looks tacky and escalade looks like slaby and boring. This Lincoln looks very interesting.
YUM!
A successor to the Tercel 4WD!!!!
There’s nothing cool looking about that blobby butt.
Check the chain.
I don’t have any issues with 3rd gens on road. I even tow with my 3rd gen. I’ve put 315,000 miles on it and it drives nicely.
I’m most likely going to buy a 5 speed 3rd gen and modify the fuck out of it strictly for overlanding.
Yeah but at least you guys get the cool JDM stuff now.
I’ll go next year only because I haven’t regeared my front diff yet. 4.56 on the rear and 3.73 on the front lol
Same here. The only 4x4s I don’t like are the ones bought purely for pavement wheeling. I wheel with a bunch of guys with twin I bean fords, Isuzus, mitsus, jeeps, suzukis and Toyota’s. In the end we’re doing something everyone else isn’t doing, enjoying the wilderness and having an awesome time without being…
Don’t be fooled by it’s shine. It’s takes a huge beating and I love 3rd gens to death.
I’ll be impressed when they try and recapture the only thing great about jeeps of yesterdecade.
People shit talking toyota because the FJ Cruiser sales were dipping after the first few years. Meanwhile, here I am staring at my very capable 4x4 FJ appreciating in value. Keep laughing, haters. Time to put in an order on my Shrocworks winch bumper.
I don’t know why it took you so long to replace a starter on a UZ. I did a starter replacement in about 2.5 hours each and that includes all my breaks. It only takes me about 3 hours to do a timing belt on a UZ too.
