It was a fun and sincere film. Not a cynical money grab like other giant robot movies I know.

I'm sure there will be someone along shortly to inform us all how much the first movie sucked. But before they show up like little green grinches to steal the Who Hash, can I just say: Woo-hoo! Yes! Thank you whatever deity watches over geeks!

I had a geekgasm over this news and I am not ashamed. Pacific Rim was one of the most fun cinematic experiences I've ever had in a long time.
