An Israeli moving into someone else’s space without permission? Surely you jest.
Man, I wish I was born having already created a really famous internet platform and married to a tremendously wealthy tennis player (things apparently some people can do prior to their own birth). Then I’d never have had to deal with being working class the lion’s share of my life. Unlike this lucky guy.
I’ve read that some of the firms/corps that were shorting Gamestop and getting fucked over now are the ones we bailed out back in ‘08. The funds that bankroll some sports teams are involved too. I say good. Just another crack/hole exposed in this stupid system where the “economy” is booming, but people have no money

What Rowling has said is shit. Don’t defend this bigot she has more than enough money to do it herself. If someone says awful things they should be held accountable.
Watch the launch version of Witcher 3 on consoles via digital foundry. Clear texture (and building) pop-in, poor draw distances, problems trying to maintain 30 FPS, at the time there were many quest breaking bugs reported also.
Ha ha man, I remember writing here before the game came out about how it had much the same setup as No Man’s Sky. Way too much hype, eager fans with imaginations and expectations run amok, no possibility in hell it could ever live up to what it was being sold as.
What aggravates me the most is that the vision, capabilities, skills, and imaginations of dozens of people helped create one of the most ambitious games of all times, yet all of that is buried underneath one of the clearest examples of how disgusting capitalism is overall.
Sure, its a lot of problems with the game as it is. But even with crashes, low fps, etc i have to admit that the game itself is way better than i was wishing for. Its like my childhood dream game, deus ex but seemingly endless. I really love it even with the technical issues, one of my favorite games this generation…
Exactly this 100%.
While you don’t need to FEEL the hype, it’s absurd to make a claim that you don’t get it. Let’s look at a few of the things.
This is always the kind of thing that scares me. Not being banned for selling something like that — it seems like a stupid idea no matter which way you look at it. But the amount of control these companies have over your games is ridiculous, and you never quite know when you’re doing something you may get banned for…
keep in mind that 34.99 isn’t just for the console, it also covers 2 years of xbox live and game pass. which, if you paid for everything individually would cost you $859.
QA takes time. The more complex the game, the more QA time is required.
Naw, they just are delayed because of normal video game industry stuff (and COVID) and they are known for attempting to polish as much as they can.
Lol, hardly, and far from it.
I mean by September this pandemic should be mostly resolve (I sure hope!)
Sounds to me like Pitchford knew what the numbers were, and knew the bonuses wouldn’t match up to previous Borderlands releases, but he kept that to himself to keep crunching developers motivated by dreams of big payout at the end of the line.
Good to know that in these uncertain times some things remain constant. The sun will rise in the morning, the Earth will still turn, Randy Pitchford will always be one of the most toxic people in the industry.
