Completely relevant.... and you’re completely right!

Nicely put. At this point, it seems like achieving the new Mpg averages will require making all vehicles hybrid across the board, as well as, implementing other expensive technologies. Although the cost of some of these technologies will be come lower (because of economy of scale), the consumer is going to have to

Nicely appointed interior; Direct and communicative steering; perfectly balanced chassis; manual transmission; plenty of power to eat through tires in a straight line or sideways. - All senses fully engaged when driving this vehicle with enthusiasm.

The lack of a clear, consistent, and stand-out identity/position in the market-segment that is evident throughout the product line.

Around $2200 including labor - unless you decide to port the engine because, what the heck, it’s already going to be open. And that pretty much encompasses the overall mindset of FD owners with absolutely anything that is fixed or upgraded in the vehicle. - It’s a deep rabbit hole... aaaaand, completely justifiable

well to be fair, the answer to that can definitely be Miata-esque

Past owner of two different FD3S RX-7’s here. Unfortunately, it’s true, BUT it’s due to the constant stress that the driver puts on the engine (increased boost and redlining).

Love the proportions and looks of this concept car - the design language looks really good in this application - but, if the adaptation of the Mazda 6 from concept to production is any indication, the design of a new road-going RX-7 could be a bit underwhelming.

Yeah, the white and blue combo is not terrible but this package, with this specific color, came in that specific way- with those rims.

30th Anniversary Firebird Trans-AM Ram Air. White with Blue Stripes and meant-to-be-matching-but-nowhere-near-close blue-tainted wheels. Bleh!

Good point. In fact, after looking it again, I guess the tires may be the best part.

from that angle, It looks like mid-to-late 90’s Mitubishi Ecilpse Spyder with a VERY bad “ground effects” kit and horrible choice in rims and tires.

Two thumbs up on today’s selection, man. love it! Have a good one

Perfect combo : E39 M5 and E46 M3; both 6-speed manuals. The M5 as the week-long family hauler and the M3 for those days that I feel more playful. The real kicker : the wife and I can have fun together at the auto-cross and the track at the same time—-in very competent vehicles no less—-without having to wait to take

Lol ... The real motives of the heist are unraveling right before our eyes.

IMHO, You deserve quote of the day after a comment like that... Beautifully crafted words! My sentiment exactly towards purpose-built sports cars that lack the most important element that intertwine the souls of man and machine #QOTD.

"Enhance. Enhance."

YES! Thanks, Travis. I appreciate it greatly! To celebrate, first round is on me, everyone. Cheers!

I have been through that... It is frustrating! It is also the main deterrent that kept me from contributing more often. It’s a shame because I’m sure that there are many passive users that would contribute greatly to this community with intelligent conversations and opinions if they had the opportunity to do so. Here

Agreed. There are some very interesting cats in this community with great stories, abilities, and accomplishments that I would love to read about. I’m willing to wager that there are many more people like us that would love to get to know more about our fellow Jalops. Someone should really consider this... I think it
