When it comes to crafting a female character as the main protagonist of a story, she needs to be both relatively believable and likeable in the role. If you gave her big boobs it just wouldn't work. No one would take her seriously. (No matter how hard she tries, Tifa from VII will never be taken seriously). For this,

That would look great under the tv. I like simple design in my electronics.

This video lost its credibility for me when I noticed that he didn't even use the official PS4 Logo...

Ah, good ear. I thought I recognized his voice.

Nope. Not even close.

I think that might be asking a bit too much of a game of FFX's size and script.

This game. Part cartoon-style, part live action video clips. It was the only actually interesting Sega-CD game that I owned.

It would convince me to finally buy a Vita, I think.

XII is my favorite of the PS2 era FFs. So good, just in so many ways. The characters were all great. No one was whiny or annoying, the story was derivative and a tad predictable, but was beautifully done, and the new battle system kicked ass. I spent something like 130 hours filling in the license board, and catching

The story was way too camp to be taken seriously, but damn if those battles weren't fun. Who would have thought that a Dress Spheres would make for such a neat system.

RIP Sector 7

I like the new layout on io9...

There's no way this is going to be a Microsoft exclusive.

Well said. If you don't know already what happens in ASoS, then you can't complain when someone spills the beans. The majority of fantasy fans have known the outcome for a really long time. Why should the discussion of it end now because a bunch of TV fanatics have finally taken an interest in this long standing

I think there's definitely a confusion here for people. The fact that, say, a character's face could emote more realistic expressions because of better polygonal process, texture mapping, etc does not mean we suddenly give a shit. As Tommy Brown mentions there, directors like Michael Bay use real (most of the time)

It was one of the more memorable parts in the beginning of the game, for sure. Certain details about old games just stick with you.

Something soft.

It was Cloud and Aries, and they saved Tifa from Don Corneo.

Nartuo...Nartuo...Kind of has a nice ring to it.

Goldeneye, man. Goldeneye.
