There are a couple cars I remember fondly when I was shopping for my first car in 1992. Both of them were 4 doors and they weren’t cool at all back in the day so I passed on them. One was a 1979 Plymouth Volare ex-Police car. Yeah, Volares were pretty much junk, but this one was rust free, had a 360 V8. It wasn’t

I put lots of miles off road in Utah and Colorado as well as much of the flat lands in the middle of the country in a Ram 1500 and agree that full size trucks work well for the vast majority of trails. Occasionally you run into a spot that is tight, but it is not a problem like trying to park in a tight parking spot

kinda related - Petter Solberg (former WRC champion) pranks dealer techs in an AMG wagon.

I’m imagining the truck tub to be more of a fun summertime soaking pool, not really a “hot tub.”. Heating would be useful just so you don’t have to sit in 50 degree tap water. An hour of idling plus ambient heating should make it comfortable.

I hope the information here is correct. There are some grim reports on social media.

If they have to plateau, it is good that they are plateauing at record levels at least.

But 93 octane can't melt steel!!!!!!”/!:’!!

Is there a speed limit on the Hudson? Most cities that have waterways I have noticed speed zones and then points where the boats will go to WOT. I don’t ever recall seeing any interesting power boats around Manhattan though.

I think some of that DNA made it through to the current model.

Nissan reported they sold less than 1000 Titans last month. The 1/2 tons haven’t hit the dealer’s yet, but that is not promising. Ford sells more F Series than that in an afternoon.

I read this just to find out what Toyota in recent memory is good looking. Not really finding an answer here.

Is she Phil’s daughter?

Just last week I decided the carpet in my beater was beyond just cleaning/shampooing and I literally flooded the floor with a garden hose - right up to the sills. Poured in a bunch of simple green, scrubbed away, then shop vac'd it out. They look better now, but I'm sure the padding is still wet and will be for a good

What a bunch of Nazis.

How long after the VW customer buy-outs start before we start hearing stories from customers about how the VW dealer told them the only way to get the buyout money is if you buy a new VW - "and they told me I had to do it today because they couldn't guarantee I would get it if I waited until tomorrow."

Roadkill is what Top Gear USA should have been.

There are setups card “cutting brakes” they use on high powered sand cars that always have the front wheels in the air. You push or pull to go left or right. They should be able to look out the side window to roughly estimate the need to turn.

Why isn’t this cross posted to Truck Yeah?
