Rumor has it the 2017 Powerstroke will be rated at 1000 lb/ft.
The Navigator is rated based on use of premium gas vs. lower octane for the F150/Expedition. Mechanically they are the same. All Ecoboost are DI. I'd guess the next (2018) Navigator will use a Raptor spec 3.5EB at 450hp+
It is only a few months until the all aluminum Super Duty will be on sale. I think things are going to get worse for Chevy before they get better.

The truck he raced on the strip was definitely his off road race truck not his pre runner. The pre runner had one spare, the race truck has two. Plus no back middle seat and no windows. “Trophy Truck” is an official SCORE race class.
Im guessing they ran 1000ft not a full 1/4 mile. 1000ft is standard for top fuel cars now as they got too fast. So I assume the 10.5 time they quoted for Bryce’s TT is a 1000ft time since trophy trucks are not that fast. That would convert to about a 12.6 quarter mile. The Pro4 truck would probably be close to a 10.5…

Sounds like they need to do a Lifehacker on seasoning cast iron. I have tried but I haven’t had good luck. I feel like I may be over cleaning it when I’m done.
I wonder how the rough surface would effect the outcome of the fish grilling exercise? I rarely use my cast iron as everything sticks to the course finish.
But let’s not forget that a big part of the “great cars for the money” equation was from cheaping out/out right cheating on emissions equipment. Add in the costs for real R&D and parts that actually last and that equation changes, maybe significantly.
