I have one of those F150s - a ‘96. It is a single cab, 8' bed, 4x4 w/manual transfer case, 302 V8 and......... a manual transmission!

I was thoroughly entertained that they needed to subtitle Guy's English with English subtitles.
I case anyone questions that studded tires do tear up roads - this is from my over exuberant throttle usage at the end of my driveway in snowy conditions.
Af years ago I ran a hose into my car (already a beater) until it filled up enough to run out over the sills. I added some cleaner and scrubbed the carpet. Then sucked it out with a shop vac. I really wanted to get some pet odors out. It looked and smelled pretty good after that. It took months though before the…
The way Ford priced an optioned the diesel F150, it feels like they don’t really have much interest in retail sales for them. I suspect Ford has some large fleet customers buying them and these sales don’t get seen at the local dealer level. The diesel transit was the same way.
And here is another video that demonstrates the vortices that they are trying to disrupt with the bleed air.
Gavel kit info if anyone is interested:
Right now Ford specs the gas V10 in F650/F750 to 37k lbs gcvw (total weight of vehicle plus trailer/payload). The new V8 will surely exceed that level - probably to at least 40k lbs. From what I can see, FCA maxes the 6.4 at 24k lbs.
Does Infiniti sell enough product to make them worthwhile?
While 210hp and 360 ft/lbs isn’t too exciting in this heavy truck, it really is an impressive output for a 2.0 diesel in a work truck application.
I just acquired a free MK5 Golf (09 Rabbit) last fall. Even if it wasn’t free, I still argue it was probably one of the nicest ones of its age in existence. It was owned by a friend that was an MD who lived within walking distance of the hospital she is worked at. It only had 25k miles on it and had all the service…
Im guessing the trucks with the upgraded engine will also get upgraded shocks and other suspension bits as well. Maybe 37" tires too.
Fernando Alonso is supposedly considering off road racing. Reports are he hs been talking to Toyota about a ride for next year’s Dakar rally.
I alos noticed it was a Spec TT, not a full blown TT. However, considering it doesn’t sound like he has any off road experience, starting off in a 6100 is probably a good idea.
Te problem here in the upper Midwest is that the days following a snow, the roads remain sloppy. You can’t get from the car wash back home without it looking just as bad as before the wash. Then a lot of the time it snows again and the cycle repeats. You can go weeks when the roads are so sloppy there is no way to…
I found an P71 Crown Vic I was interested in that the owner had upgraded with deeper gears and big brakes. When I called to make arrangements to look at it, he asked me to meet him at a strip club. So I did. I had to explain to the bouncers that I really wasn’t there for the girls, but to buy a car from some guy. They…
A GoPro mounted low to the ground, showing the wheels turning and salt being kicked up might have been a little interesting. They probably didn’t want to sacrifice any aero for it though.
I’m think next will be Escalade-V.
How easy is a 2nd gear burnout? How about 3rd gear?
“It looks almost totally intact, if you put a sheet over everything but the passenger side.”
