When I read the headline I thought to myself, “maybe in the Middle East.” Of course it is.

They sell baseball bats in Europe?
Sounds like you are describing the upcoming Fusion Sport.
Wrong link. Better version here:
I don’t know, these Sousaphone has a place from time to time:
Yep. The tuners have pretty much maxed out the DI injectors and high pressure pump and they are not practical to replace. However, old-school port injectors are not so costly to replace and I assume they will be pressurized by a standard in-tank pump, which are also easily upgradable.
Driver went airborne? I thought maybe someone got ejected.
Not the first time Robby Gordon has had to deal will jackasses on the road.
Wow. That road is pretty gnarly for a WRC road. Lots of big rocks and ruts. A lot of this year's Dakar wasn't that rough.
You are reading my sentence structure differently than I was intending it. I don’t mean efficiency is the only reason one would consider a Ridgeline. I'm sure people will have a number reasons to choose it. I'm just stating that "the efficiency argument", one of many considerations, may not be a sound argument.
I’ve gotten to become quite fond of first generation Ford Focus, particularly the 05-07s with a 5 speed. Sure, they are not sexy and are plastic fantastic, but stick with me. They really are bullet proof and typical wear items are easy to change and dirt cheap. With 130 they are not rockets, but at 2600lbs they have a…
but it removes the argument for buying a Ridgeline because of efficiency since the mpg differences would be pretty negligible for most consumers. I haven't driven a Ridgeline, but I have driven a 2.7EB F150. I would bet there is more than a negligible difference in the performance feel between the two.
You won’t get 26 mpg highway out of a Ridgeline.
I tend to agree. At least not for the typical “corner carving” driving dynamics some might be thinking of. On the other hand, modern pick ups are very comfortable driving and don’t have trouble when the road you are driving isn’t really a road. In that sense, the driving dynamics of the traditional pick up with low…
I know the Jalopnik answer is always Miata, but if you are trying to mow down a crowd, is it really the right choice?
Manufacturers don’t generally want to talk about anything that isn’t in their showroom right now. That Ford has an electric car program isn't really a secret. People that watch Ford have been hearing rumors about it over the last couple of years.
It wasn't a show that I just couldn't miss, but I could always a safe choice if I came across it in the guide. This episode reminds me of the one where they try to rip the axle out of a Crown Vic.
Focus with studded snow tires. Handbrake turn to setup a 90 degree left. Have to keep the speed up or he will catch me on the corner.
I feel like this would be a mistake for Google. Most automotive analysts feel like FCA is teetering on the edge of oblivion. While a contract with Google could help move FCA away from the edge, it seems like there is still considerable risk from Google’s point of view. Additionally, FCA is not on the leading edge of…
