I have a friend that used to work (an intern actually) at the Harley Davidson archive. When he told me he worked in an archive, I immediately had an image of some sort of library in my head. But he explained to me that while they did have a large paper archive of historical engineering and design work, they also had

And I’ll add that when people on internet forums complain because manufacture X won’t bring their Euro diesels over it is because of these different emissions requirements. The VW fiasco is proving that the other manufactures were right when they said they couldn’t bring them to the US economically and still meet the

I’ve been known to do that as well. Some dogs have so much energy they really need a vigorous running that isn’t possible on foot. No leash and lots of open space is important. Here’s my dog running:

Burnouts for Bernie!

They haven’t stopped making it yet.

but can you get one with a manually shifted transfer case plus manual hubs?

I think it means they opened two additional Nissan dealerships in the same market area.

That tells us a lot about the long term financial viability of FCA.

The stopping at intersections thing is a problem for us as well. They are stopping before the line or the stop sign is too far back and you can’t see up the road. Then they want to just go from that position even though they can sometimes only see 20 feet up the road to see if any traffic is coming.

keep one of these in your trunk.

Big turbo Patrols are a thing in the Middle East. Lots of videos of them on youtube - either crazy dune climbs or street racing.

I have two kids learning to drive right now. I have noticed that neither of them are looking down the road properly to identify oncoming traffic. They say they looked, but they are not in position to see far enough down the road.

I’m guessing they have more/better security cam film that the ID’d the car with.

“Immidiate plans” really means next to nothing. That just means we aren’t releasing one this afternoon. Tomorrow could be a different story. Anyway, it is n’t a big secret that Ford is working on a ground up electric platform but it is still c couple years out. They don’t usually talk about stuff that is that far out

My Illinois plate story - I had a roommate years ago from Illinois. He requested and paid for personalized Illinois plate. He asked for his name and year of birth - "Curt 68". When he got them they said, "Kirk 52". He just kept them figuring it wasn't worth fighting with the DMV.

Is his position an elected one? That would also explain his eagerness to point fingers elsewhere. Not to mention added name recognition. If not elected, maybe he has future plans to run for office and wants name recognition and some anti-tax cred.

The market is municipalities/utilities/fleets that have "green" initiatives in states that have a minimum electric vehicle sales requirements (California). Ford will price them attractively enough to meet whatever minimum requirement they have. The E-Focus isn't intended to sell in any larger quantities than that.

Actually, I’m expecting the Fusion Sport will be fast enough to put the lights out on a lot of WRXs if the Subie driver is off their game at all behind the wheel (in a straight line at least).
