I agree, nobody cares about these. Never did. The only ones even slightly interesting were the few available in its last years that were available with the base Taurus 3.0 V6 (w/5speed).

I enjoy off-road racing as it is 3 dimensional. Where other racing is, more-or-less, accel/decel and left/right. Off road adds up/down to the mix.

It used to be a thing to put C heads on Ws. It required some spacer things to get the intake manifold to line up. This was back in the day when there weren't good aftermarket Windsor heads available. Now, there are tons of bolt on aftermarket aluminum heads that are way better than the factory C heads.
